Xpole joint twisted

Ive not long had an Xpole sport and the joint has twisted inside my pole so i cant loosen it with the allen key :( does anyone know how to fix this? And if so will it ruin my pole? If the groves inside the pole are a bit damadged does this make a difference when iuse it again?

There is a video that tells you how to get slipped jionts out. Basically you need to have a long handle and bang the joint out. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2M3jmHUosR0 This should not happen on the new style x joints. When you re-install it make sure that you tighten it as directed in the instructions.
