Xpole Base Stuck

I have disassembled my xpole but I can't seem to get the base off. Can anyone help me out with this?

Did you put the pole in spin mode? You need to unscrew the 2 Allen's that shift the pole from spin to static in order to remove the base.
Hi cardboardboxesoflove, Make sure the spinning static screws are loose, and if it still catches you can tap the base off with a mallet or a heavy book- once you tap the base it should come right out. please email any questions to [email protected]! Thanks!
