xpole..plz help

so i found this girl thats selling a xpert xpole, she said she has been trying to sell it for like 3 months and needs the cash so she said she would sell it for 250..she was asking 300. soo anyways i asked her if it is a real xpole she said yes.bottom loading..that is spins and doesnt spin. she did say tho that two of the poles are screwed together really tight and she is having trouble getting them apart..tdoes this matter? its just this is my first pole and i dont want to be ripped off!! she also said she was taching classes and got the pole thru one of her instructers and that she is 100% on it being real..whats ur guys take on this..what questions should i ask her..and if i ask her what should the correct answers be?? thanks!!!

It sounds authentic. When I took my last x-pole down the two larger pieces were so stuck together I didn’t think I would ever get them apart. X-pole even said that they are making their new poles with joints that don’t stick so tight, so x-pole themselves recognize this. If it were a knock off it would probably have peeling on the chrome from wear. I think the bases on the fake ones are also made from plastic so you would be able to tell by handling it that it wasn’t authentic. The only other thing I would check for is any dents by the joints or where you use the tools. Other than that, if everything is there, the price sounds good.

xpoles website addresses fake xpoles. as previously said, the domes are made of plastic and have a black grip instead of the clear that an authentic x pole has. Here is the link: http://www.xpoleus.com/news.php
