I am looking at permanent mounts for my xpole x pert for a potentially slanted ceiling. I thought this http://www.x-pole.co.uk/x-pole-online-shop.html?page=shop.product_details&flypage=flypage.tpl&product_id=215&category_id=66 would be the product as it looks like it rotates but it says it is only for flat ceilings. Anyone have any ideas?

That might be a typo on the web page. Call X Pole in your area to discuss your needs. Here is the vaulted mount from their US site and it says for vaulted ceilings only. http://xpoleus.com/store/xpert-vaulted-mount-404550mm-silver-p-623.html
I think its semantic. Flat does not mean level. My guess is it refers to the fact that you still should only apply this to standard ceilings. A tin ceiling for example will still be ruined by this, also a ceiling that is not "true" could still bend your pole as you tighten it and attempt to have it straight.
Ooooooh that is a good point Webmaster, as in if the ceiling slopes it is still 'flat' but the ceiling is not 'level'....Hmmmm maybe, thanks :)
