X Pole in a basement apartment?

Hi Veeners, Been stalking the website and forums for a while and decided it's time I grab the x-pole I've so desperately wanted through SV! I'm a little worried though. I recently moved to a basement apartment and am not sure how the ceiling would hold up. It's a renovated basement and the ceiling is drywall. There are potlights installed where I would like to put the pole though I'm not sure if it is a 'false ceiling'. I would hate to damage the ceiling, is there anyway I can put it up safely without damaging the apartment? Thanks for your help!
