hi i noticed when i tip my x joint back and forth(just the joint) there is something loose clinging around in it, is this normal?? or has a piece broken off inside??

I have taken one totally apart and there is not much there, on top of it anything loose would fall out as it is open on both ends. There basically is the round expansion joint and then the 2 half moon shaped spreader pieces. When the joint is out I know that the spreader pieces will jiggle a little. You can also try tightening the screws that keep the spreader pieces attached to the expansion joint (they are the silver screws on either side of the screw that you tighten when you put it in place).
Don't be afraid of taking it totally apart...there is nothing you can screw up. The hardest part is getting the holes lined back up!
ok thanks chem, jus a bit ago i was practicing and i hears a clang like a piece fell off somewhere, weird!!! will take it apart and see if i find anything!!
