x-pert pole x-joint stuck

I can't get my x-pole out of the bottom pole portion(I think it is pole A) It is stuck.I need it out b/c as soon as it was up, the x-joint turned inside(must not have been locked).I thought I could dance away anyway, but the pole gives way about a half inch and it doesn't make for a "smooth" pole(would lead to tons of cuts) Any suggestions.It won't budge. Tried banging it on ground and turning, only it still won't turn. 😮
