I put this in another thread but I'm going to be redundant... So I found out I have enough money for a Veena workshop, too, and I was wondering which one I should sign up for - I have Amber's USPDF workshop at 7 that night, so I was thinking with going with Veena's earlier one so I had some time to recover in between. Sound like a good idea? I'm so excited! Now I get to take workshops with both of my biggest pole idols in the same day! \/\/007! 🥂

i know i have 60$ for a wrkshop, just not sure how much it would be to stay nearby as wouldnt have car. 🤔 so workshop, hotel, cab, and train? bus? to get there. hmm.. wish there was somone in the area going. well my 2 year pole anniversary is in a few days and would love to celebrate w learning a new move or 2.. 🥂 especially if i get to meet some of the wonderful veena family ☀️ anyone have any advice on hotels, or anything.. ? little nervous about going it alone, but if it works out $ wise i would love to take advantage of the oppurtunity. 🤸 💣 😉

Pole-twista - you might want to poke around the threads about USPDF in the competition forum, people are discussing hotels and such there. I'm taking a bus down, myself, but I'm coming from the opposite direction from you. It's just over 3 hours to get there from about where I live, and it was $80 round-trip through Greyhound (coming into the Port Authority station in Manhattan). From what I've seen, hotels are a bit pricey - a lot of people are getting roommates to split the costs. There still might be some people looking, but I'm not sure...

I'm bumping this thread, because... I'm sure those of you who signed up for a workshop with Veena got the email that the workshops were canceled because of her losing her sister. 🙁 I just wanted to say that as much as I was looking forward to learning from Veena in person, I'm not at all disappointed or upset, given the situation. But I also wanted to mention I think it was awesome of Veena to step up and offer to fill in because of the other canceled workshops. That was a very gracious thing to do, Veena, even though it didn't work out in the end. I still applaud your efforts. 🥂 And I do hope I can still get the chance to meet you someday. 🙂 And I know there really isn't anything any of us can say to make you feel better, Veena, but do know that all of us are thinking and praying for you. Take all the time you need and we'll be here waiting for you!
