I mean this totally neutral, not commenting on how people placed at all. Does anyone know how was this contest scored? I ask because at one point the host asked the judges to explain how they were scoring and KT Coates said "I don't know." 😲 Did she just kind of freeze up on the spot or was there really not a set way to score? 😕 I hope the contestants had guidelines even if they weren't shared with the audience.

Congrats everyone! I am so happy for all of you! @Bace, I know there were required elelments and a compulsory round so I assume a lot of the judging was based on that round and those things.
I was there and it was an amazing show!!!! (I cleaned the poles hehe) I believe they were being judged on the same things that most comps are judged on, grace, strength, flexibility, uniqueness of moves or ways in and out of moves and overall theme. Not sure though 100% it was deffinitly a hard decision I would not have wanted to judge it!!!
