Wikipole Mystery Moves

I love the wikipole site! It's fantastic! That said, I've seen some moves on there with no pictures and I'm wondering what the moves actually look like. Here's a list of the ones I have no idea on. Eagle Black Widow Chopstix Devil Drop Duchess Electric Slide Extreme Taylor Nose Breaker Flatline Thigh Hold Flump Forward Ankle Release Gargoyle Knot If anyone has pictures, or can tell me the approx second count in a video, that would be ideal! Thank in advance for the help!

Oooh the mystery moves frustrate me so much HAHAHA! I'm like "Ooohhh that sounds so cool! What is that?!" and then there's no pic. Hahahaha and I get ridiculously obsessed with wanting to know what it looks like, LOL! I'm guessing that Forward Ankle Release is what the guys on the pic in this thread (http://www.studioveena.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=11&t=1743) are doing 😂

The nose breaker is an inverted drop stopping short before you actually hit the floor.

The Duchess has a picture up. It appears to be the Flatline Scorpio, but you put your hands on your butt and push up. The Electric Slide I believe is just a Back Slide to the floor, but I may be off on that. Not sure if it's relevant but 'Dangerous Brian' is the name of a British television character from about 15 years ago. ;)

@ salubivires: Interesting! I always wondered if there was someone named Brian who did the move first, but the TV character would sound more likely :)

It is a misspelling. It is supposed to be Dangerous Brain.

lol - I always thought it was the "Dangerous BRIAN" !!!!! I call it the "reverse thigh hold" because well you're reversed and holding with your thighs. Chopstix is an upright jade. The electric slide is a combo move I believe made popular by Katie Coates...it's been awhile but I think it's a spinning invert - gemini/scorpio switch. It's awesome!

Well, whoever put the page up on wikipole spelled it 'brian' - and it's been that way for several years now. So as far as I am concerned it's Dangerous Brian - typo or no typo! Haha!

I've seen it called dangerous brian in quite a few different places. Perhaps either everyone has copied the same source that misspelt it... or it's just a silly name 🙂

Hi Clinky, there are actually pictures of the Knot in the wikipole (2 variations). Black widow, it's actually a stag spin or some called it reverse sunwheel spin.

I too know the Black Widow as a Reverse Attitude (SV name). To me, the move mentioned by Svarri is known as a Basket 😎

It's definitely Dangerous Brian... named after the TV character. It was on Vertical Dance forum in abour 2006 that it was named.

huh. i've heard the black widow called a back hook attitude-- that's what i call it myself. Sfactor calls it a flying half pint. but with the bottom hand slightly different- palm facing towards you, as in a regular back hook, instead of away. that hand/wrist positioning looks really wonky!
