Which size pole do you recommend? a 45mm or 50mm? How much of a difference does it make in your dancing?

50 is the standard. I've heard 45 is good for smaller hands but makes holding on with legs more difficult.
i would recommend a 50mm only because it's easier to go from a 50mm to a 45mm instead of the other way around, at least that's what i've heard. hope this helps! 😀

I'm a beginner and I have a 50mm. It's all I know for now so it works fine for me LOL. and from what I hear if I ever come across a 45mm I won't have much trouble adjusting, opposed to the other way around 😉

50 mm is the standard size that you will find in clubs and most studios (at least in the US). If you are planning on taking classes or working at a club, I would stick with the 50 mm. If you will only be doing this at home..then go with the 45mm if you have smaller hands. It will be much easier to go from a 50 mm to 45 mm pole than it will to go from 45 to 50. I have heard good things about the 45mm...but personally I love the 50! There are many people who have tiny hands that do just fine on the 50mm. I think it really all boils down to preference! 😀
I'm a beginner and I have a 50mm... From what I understand you only want the smaller diameter pole if you have really small hands.

so which material is the best for a pole ? I see that there is one in titanium and one in chrome her on studioveena.. which one is the best ?

i hear that titanium is because it is grippier? 🤔 Im not quite sure. But i think its compared to brass? 🤔

I have a titanium pole and I don't really notice much difference between my previous chrome xpole and the new titanium one. I do find having the smaller demension though made a big difference for me when doing ariel inverts.
oh, okay... In that case it would be better to get one in titanium then 😀 - i'm still saving up for one, because I don't wanna get one of those cheap ones which brakes ceilings and floors and fall down when used 🤔
I'm a beginner and got a 50mm titanium one. I like it! the pole its self looks small in my mind. the 45 looks like i can brake it.. but thats just me. i exercise my wrists and forearms for better strength. i got a gold one cuz i could not keep myself up on a chrome. I have used 45mm pole and i swing better, but i cant climb it! ( i have big thighs) i dont know i like my 50mm you just get used to the feel, most of it i imagine comes from practice and body strength.

I know of others who find that the titanium really wasn't much different than the chrome. I like chrome for beginners because its not as slippery as new stainless steel and not so grippy that dancing on a pole that isn't your becomes a problem. I have a 45 and 50 both are chrome and I love my 45, but make sure to use my 50mm often or my grip suffers. Gripping a 45 is easier. If you have wrist, hand or shoulder problems and only want to pole at home go with the 45mm. i ordered a flirty girl and after researching the xpole is the thing to get. my hubby was like i have spent the money and there is no use to get the xpole right now. can you tell me for the time being is the ok. and also will any type of movement put strain on my ceiling at all. hubby thinks it will and i am getting depressed that i wont be able to dance

Thanks Chrome is a bit more slick than the titanium, so the titanium is a bit easier to grip. The titanium gold and silver are almost exactly the same - both are titanium (obviously) but the color is different. Rouge says she thinks the gold titanium grips a bit better than the silver, but I'm sure it's not a huge difference. Chrome is also the standard. A couple other girls on here have had a lot of damage to both their ceilings and floors from that kind of pole. It's also not safe - it can fall easily when you're using it. If you just ordered it, I'd return it and get your money back. Then save up and get an x-pole.
