What video editing software do you use?

Just wondering what everyone uses I need one that can cut certain scenes out that I don't like

That's easy then. For iPads you can get iMovie, its free, easy and powerful. It's a better solution than most of the easy stuff on a PC.

And what about for a laptop? Is there something easy to use on a laptop?

Windows live movie maker should then be already available on your computer if its Window 7.
