What Pole to Buy?

I am currently in classes that teach us on a 38 r pole, I love it, now my husband has given me some money and told me to buy my own pole, I am just wondering what's the best to use at home? I am in the UK if that makes any difference to the recommendations? I have googled it and come across 45 and 50 mms, and am lost, whats the difference, is there much of a difference, and whats the difference between a chrome and a T-Gold many many thanks in advance

38, 45, and 50mm is the size of circumference of the pole. 50mm is the most common, its easiest for grip on the legs, the smaller ones are easier to grip with the hands, but hurt the legs way more since the pole is smaller the pressure is more concentrated. The difference between a chrome and a titanium gold pole is grip ive heard, and color, ive never tried TG, but I use chrome and would recommend it. I have a chrome 50mm xpole.

38, 45, and 50mm is the size of circumference of the pole. Just a small correction: it's actually not the circumference, but the diameter! (but that's just details)

Ok, getting my geek on lol 🤓 The circumference (when you measure around the pole) can be calculated by multiplying the diameter with pi.
