For floorwork, pole tricks,transitions and chair work. Some moves *I* think are silly but I see them used a lot and I wonder are they tried and true with verbal feedback or just doing things we think our man wants to see...yes I am an overthinker LOL

The main one I see alot is that makes me wonder most is a floor work move that looks like a side ways donkey kick, it just reminds me of a dog peeing on a hydrant but bringing the leg in and out slowly I dont know but like I said I do not have a guy brain so maybe they think its sexy. Horrible description but its the best I know lol
Just want to add this is in no way meant to be offensive to anyone who does this move or any of the ones people contribute, I just think its interesting to see what we view as what we think are the moves men want to see and the ones they actually do. kwim? I dream of being a good dancer like everyone here that I see <3

I would think body rolls ( I like to body roll eveyrthing from shoulder mounts to handstands ) and crawling are ones that men like. Everyone seems impressed by splits of all kinds. But I think guys tend to not be too impressed by crazy strength tricks or anything with a big difficulty level....cuz they just don't care how hard that move was. lol Boys! 😁

Anything that has to do with flexibility.....
Vagina monster seems like the most ridiculous move of all time but men seem to love it. Anything that is slow, sensual where you are rubbing your hands all over your body or the pole, showing off your butt, splayed legs, ANYTHING that looks like you are having sex with the floor or the pole. In other words, all of the moves we find difficult because you have to be comfortable with yourself in order to be able to work it.

IME, men *love* body rolls and floorwork above all else. I did a demo for the studio where I teach and was doing caterpillar climbs, ayshas, shoulder mount bounces, all sorts of fab stuff. Later I asked DH about his favorite part, and he said "you know that spin where your legs are in sort of a diamond shape, and you're looking over your shoulder, and you just look like you're flying? I love that one, it's so beautiful." -- Uh, the front hook spin? Seriously? Yep, he loves it. But for sexy, he loves floorwork. Particularly floor humping or hips up and undulating side-to-side while on the floor. Hooboy.

Thank you for the replies. I know it all comes down to feeling sexy with whatever moves we choose so we portray the confidence and sensuality to pull it off. My one dance for my SO was AWFUL I know because I was terrified and my breathing was louder than the music and I dont really understand why its so hard for me to dance for him but I am not shy anywhere else if you catch what I mean ;) I know I just need to get out of my head and just move and feel sensual but it is so difficult and makes no sense to me.
It's because dancing for your SO is far more intimate than dancing anywhere else. I can shake it and grind with the best of them, but dancing for my DH always makes me nervous. I have so much more emotionally invested in it! I want him to love it, to watch me and be hot for me AND proud that I'm his wife, all that stuff rolls around, and it doesn't when I dance anywhere else, know what I mean?
Yes polergirl that is exactly what I mean, My DH tells me all the time that he loves what he sees. I just wish it were easier to show that side of me. My skin flaws really kill my confidence when dancing. The more I think about it I think maybe its because of that. Dancing and putting my body and movements on display for him to take in with his eyes makes me think he might be thinking all of the negative things I am kwim? I hate it and I try so hard to squash the thoughts. He accepts me now I need too!
Simulated f*cking. That's what men like. Sorry to put such a fine point on it ;) If he can imagine himself f*cking you in the position you are in, that's a move he's going to like. Men are simple, simple creatures. Banana in one hand, penis in the other.
My friend who likes strip clubs likes the shoulder roll and the caterpillar (not the climb version)

I was going to mention the same thing as Cherished. My husband really likes my caterpillar pose. Just the static version. I haven't even figured out the climb yet.

I've received compliments on movements that articulate my hips and involve hip movement. So any sways, weight shifts, rolling or undulating movements. Honest comments are because they imagine/think of sex with those moves... I am sensing a similarity in all of our responses... hmmm. LOL!
