what is Webcamming and...

Anyone know what the deal is? Don't get me wrong I have been researching it... But I'm wondering if the money potential is really there? I would like to do a paper on this in an open honest way, I don't believe in women being called whores or anything like that, I'm more looking for pros and cons from real people and real experience... Feel free to private message if you want to contribute anonymous! Thank you in advance for any info

If you go on Stripperweb they have a whole section dedicated to webcamming I think.

I have a few friends who have done this. The one makes crazy money or at least used to. One got blackmailed by one of her old clients when she quit.

I have quite a lot subs on you tube and get asked to do this the whole time - Its not personally for me. If i was young free single and child free i may have given it more thought but its a defo no..... Anyhow back to the point.... the BBC just recently aired a documentary called 'The Truth About Webcam Girls'in the uk http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ppqmOHNrAr0 was a very interesting watch - hopefully you may find a link to watch it in the US?! They made on average £3.50 a minute for private one on one (about $7 roughly i guess). One of the girls made £300 ($600ish) in one night BUT i guess for the documentary they found quite popular girls with a good amount of followers already etc. Different sites offer different ways of doing it money wise etc..... I guess like anything you will have to work your way up and charge more as popularity increases etc just like any job/skill/work. :-D meg x

Yes people kept asking if they could give me some money so i put it there (its works hehe) Then i will go buy pole pants etc. (i guess to them its like they have brought them - its a control thing) - Thanks to youtube i got my new pole :-D I worked out there are easier ways to make money without taking of any clothes - Selective stretches (which are still stretches we all do to get splits) selective poses etc etc. I dont even answer any Private messages or do any private vids (not something that i personally feel is right for me to do). Was having a talk with my OH and he said if blokes could make money from doing stuff on webcam there would not be a man with a 'normal' job out there hahaha - soo true!

I think that's just what they say :). There's only a small fraction of women on webcam as well. And some guys do it too!

The whole issue is extremely controversial. On the one hand, it's a very good opportunity for young girls to earn some good money without going out of their home and physically being a prostitute or something like that. By the way, many webcam models say that nudity has nothing to do with being a camgirl and even consider themselves psychologists because they do also communicate with their customers. On the other hand, this statement can seem funny to some people who strongly despise camgirl websites. it takes a LOT of work to become a popular webcamgirl and to make lots of money, plus with the technology nowadays guys record the sessions, it doesnt worth the money . You could end up on porn hub and all kind of horrible places for few dollars.

Dont do it. If you're interested in that sort of thing be a stripper, but you can never go back from being webcam girl.
