That's a one handed corkscrew attitude in my book 😀 It's super pretty, isn't it! I just did it for the first time yesterday, but on a static pole so my armpit is slightly sore today 😂
Oh, I love this move too, so pretty! So this move is meant for static as well as spinny? I wasn't sure, I keep trying it on static and OMG does is hurt! It got me thinking that maybe this one was only meant for spinny? On the bright side, I may never grow armpit hair again, so I will definitely be sure to work both sides on this one - how odd would it be to only have one baldy pit 😂 Any tips for perfecting this one?

i do it no-handed on static-- i find that's easier than one-handed, but to each their own! to get into it on static, you have to take a really wide step out before you pull your upper body in to hte pole and let your legs swing completely around with your hips lifted as high as possible- think of getting your upper body almost horizontal. then when your legs come around, into the position of the spin, you loosen your hands slightly and drop one hand (or both-- if you do it no-handed, you are holding the pole in the crook of the elbow of your inside arm). if you get your hips high and really curl your upper body around the pole, you don't need a hand to stay securely on the pole in the spin. for me, my point of contact isn't my armpit at all-- it's just in front of it, under my bicep. this spin took me maybe 3 years to perfect, in all seriousness. if you're my fb friend (request me if you want, just say your sv name) you can see the one handed spin here: http://www.facebook.com/video/video.php?v=982169681929&ref=mf onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;
Yeah, Amy's is gorgeous. I remember seeing you do it in the performance you were in where you were dressed like a cop and thought "Wow, I want to learn that". Hence the reason I asked you about it in Chicago.

i did a super abbreviated version of a corkscrew in pole superstar... they put guerilla grip on the poles which was like putting rosin all over them and i couldn't spin at all!
