Your legs are in attitude position but you don't have either leg hooked on the pole. How exactly do you do this when I try it I feel like I have to lean too far back to do it and keep spinning...it looks weird 😳

I believe it is commonly called a sunwheel or attitude spin. Can't help with the "how".
The attitude/sunwheel is one of my favs and I rarely put a leg on the pole. Think of the body positioning for a baseball grip boomerang, but with legs in attitude position. It takes more core and adductor strength because you don't have the pole to support you. I think it's such a pretty spin! Good luck! 🙂
Are you talking about a reverse attitude? You go into it like you do a back hook but the legs are up in the attitude position and nothing hooks.
