What are your Fav POLE SHOES!?!

Hey! I've been web shopping for 2 weeks now and I just can't make up my mind! Do I want the thigh highs for better stick action? Or should I start with the regular heels first? Do I want the black or the clear or the silver, or maybe the red!! There are so many CUTE SHOES! SO hard to decide! haha!! I'm so indecisive! 😂 Its my first pair so it makes it that much harder! What do you think? What is your favorite pair for poling?! Maybe It'll help me actually push the "buy" button! 😀

If you are **brand new** to heels, I would suggest getting something with a chunkier heel. It took me awhile to get used to wearing 6" heels around and I almost bit the floor a couple times 😂 !! My first pair were knee high boots, which are great for training and trying new moves as they help you stick to the pole better, protect the skin and support the ankles. Just make sure you get the shiny patent ones, not the matte PU. The PU doesn't stick to the pole. I gotta be honest with you, it is impossible to own just one pair of shoes. Once you open that dam, be prepared to spend all your $$, because there is no going back! 😂 😬 😂

I now own more stripper shoes than regular, lol! I recommend Pleaser Electra boots (I love thigh highs) or the Dolly shoes. I know how hard it is to pick, so maybe just start with a clear heel. It'll go with everything!

I have more shoes than dancing talent! Jewelery for mother;s day, annaversary of B-day?! No I can give a list of shoes I've been wanting and he is so sweet he picks his choice out of those. My favourite have been the uv glow pink and the other uv glow white. BUT I haven't gotten to see them lit up do to my black light not beeng strong enough! I think my fav first pair was back top with ankle straps and clear bottoms.My husband was most impressed with them when I got them too!

you will have a shoe problem after you hit BUY. I have a few cone heeled ones b/c thats what my studio asks you to wear. I do wear my other ones when i do pole play. I had a pair of pink ones, silver, black, clear w/no ankle strap and my new ones have fish (which need to go back to Ellie - they started leaking).

..... I find chunky heels harder to walk on! I'm just gonna throw that one out there. People always say to buy chunky, but I am 10x more likely to fall on my face with chunky. I also suggest a standard shoe as your first shoe.. Something you can handle wearing with every outfit until you can buy more shoes, more more more shoes!

My favorite shoes are by Pleaser the style is Adore. They come in all different colors/patters etc and are actually pretty comfortable! I have been wearing the hot pink uv ones lately but I have them in black with rhinestone skulls on the side and clear with uv butterflies in the platform! I have so many pleaser shoes, my mom came over and saw them and was like "I'm not going to ask" LOL. Just make sure you get ankle straps you don't want a shoe flying off mid-performance!

That is good to know RaquelleStarr. I've been trying to decde between the strap/no strap. I thought the strap might help keep them on, but LOVE the slip on because I am lazy : ) Guess I don't want to break a window with a flying shoe though... Becky

Pleaser Kiss!!!!! Totally my favorite right now. i do suggest if you are new to shoes and boots get a pair of each - I prefer shoes to boots and never would have guessed. Start with 5 - 6 inches too. Try the shoes on, walk around them. I also found chunky shoes harder to work in.

Yes! Or almost take out someones eye like I accidently did once, ever since then its always ankle straps! RIP blue light up shoes with no straps 🙁

I think I'm going to have to give in and get one of each, boot and heel. I'm really digging the thigh high and I can't wait to get a pair, but I think I should probably get a "normal" heel pair too. I have a pair just like the 209s but with chrome heels and looooovvvvve them!! They are so comfy and feel very stable. As far as the boots go, I just want to warn you that the shafts of Pleaser boots can be very narrow, and I have seen many of my friends have trouble zipping them up. You may want to go with a model that has a lace up shaft in addition to the zipper so that you can tighten/loosen them to your size.

I highly recommend the black and clear shoe, especially for some one new to shoes. The boots look okay to me but i usually go for stiffer top boots because the last time I bought soft top boots they were too small in the leg area and kept sliding down 🙄

I need competition shoes, clear heals and also I am looking for some cute and/or sexy competion dress. I am in Iceland and I don´t want to waste time looking and finding what I want and then they announce that they don´t send to Iceland.. can you help.. Good luck in your shoe hunt.. Polar 😉

I have 6 1/2" Pleaser Adore chrome-style heels w/ ankle straps, I forget the exact model #. I LOVE these shoes, they are perfect in every way! For being big platform spike-heels they are amazingly comfortable and, although it took me a few days to get used to them while on the pole, they are surprisingly easy to maneuver and walk in. My only prob is that I'm already too tall for my little pole-room, so I have be extra careful inverting when I wear my Pleasers so that I don't scrape the ceiling. lol I also have a pair of chunky 4" heel knee-high boots by T.U.K that are not exactly made for dancing, but they are my favorite shoes to wear while on my pole. I don't know why people say that matte boots don't stick because mine do! Granted I am sure that shiny vinyl boots stick much better, but I really don't like to stick too much...it makes noises and inhibits my momentum. Although my boots were purchased at Hot Topics and were intended only for fashion, I've found they are highly functional with climbs, holds, spins and inverts. The only problem is the metal eyelets create tiny superficial scratches on the chrome finish of my pole, so I only use them in moderation and will probably retire them from the pole entirely when I can afford a pair of Pleaser Electra's. I have a ton of fashion cheapies I've bought on clearance at a variety of stores and I don't recommend them for poling, lol. Although I do have a pair of magenta colored vinyl wedges that only cost me $5 that are highly effective in learning new moves while wearing heels. They are my "training heels" and they are designed in such a way that I can climb for hours without getting bruises or blisters on my feet, but I don't really like how they look on me. They also scuff like no tomorrow and make squeaking noises (vinyl against pole, Eeeesh, how I hate that sound!), but as for learning how to work it in heels without getting sore and battered there is no better choice. As for where to purchase quality pole-shoes from, I buy from snaz75.com. They are fast, reliable, and have a wide selection from Pleaser, Demonia and also have a lot more cool stuff for poling other than just shoes! Beware, though, once you start buying this stuff it becomes very addicting. I am ALWAYS broke because I spend all of my money on pole-related activities and accessories. Does anyone know where I could find some blacklight reactive shoes with a 5" or shorter heel? It's so hard to find cute pole shoes in that heel height range and I'm already pretty tall so I feel like a giant freak in the higher heels.

When I wear my dance heels I am over six foot tall!!! Love it! My favorite brand is Tabu footwear. They are the most comfortable for me and you can customize the shoe as far as the tops/bottoms/fabrics/rhinestone patterns. My second favorite is Pleaser USA. I love my Pleaser Kiss light up shoes and Electra knee high boots. All of my shoes (except for boots) are strap varieties. I do not want a shoe hitting me in the head or causing other damages. You probably will build a collection over time... start with what appeals to you and go from there!

I find Pleaser to run just a bit too narrow for me if I've got to wear them for any extended period of time. I find Jante to run a bit wide once the shoes have warmed to my foot. Regardless, look for a shoe that has a suede (or faux-suede) footbed so your toes don't poke out over the edge. The suede allows your foot to stay in place better. You're going to find a pair that was made just for you and when you do stick with 'em sister!
