What are you doing for Vday? :)

What is everyone doing for Vday? I love planning things and seeing others ideas! This is one of my favorite holidays. I'll go first. This year I'm keeping it simple and staying home. I plan to pole dance/ lap dance for my husband. I made a VIP pass to invite him. 02112010425.jpg On the back it says: Velvet Vixen presents a special VIP invitation just for you! Open House 2/14/10- The Pole Room @ 4 pm. Featuring your own private dancer in all her glory. Bring your V pass for a special 1 on 1 lap dance! This is not a show you want to miss! Please RSVP to XXXX For the pole dance- I'm going to improv to whatever song makes me feel sexy at that moment (it changes lol) I am going to wear an outfit with multiple layers (top layer will have fringe) For lap dance- He will go to living room and I will change into a different outfit. I'm going to wear my cheetah robe so he can't see outfit until I show him. 😉lapdanceoutfit.jpg He is planning something but I don't know what. Guess I will have to wait and see. I also made a pop up card of us that hugs when it opens. 🙂 This is fun. Your turn!

This sounds awesome velvetvixen, go you! I'm afraid im going to be staying with bf at the in laws for Vday, (and away from my pole!) so will be keeping it more traditional. Booked in for a hair appointment in the afternoon, maybe some shopping wiht bf, then booked in at a french restaurant for a late dinner. Boring, but should be nice anyway 🙂

VV, I heart you, seriously. That is so cool--he is going to flip out! Has he ever seen you do any pole work? If not, then he will REALLY flip out, lol.

I am going to a pole class at 12 😀 then dinner with the hubby at his friends restaurant at 5:30 the we are going to a show "Mortified LA: Doomed Valentines!" at 8pm. Veruca & VV - That sounds AWESOME!! VV- Hubby's gonna get a chubby!! Veruca - I would so LUV to see that show - it sounds like a riot! I on the other hand am doing nothing remotely Valentine-ish. I bought my mommy a car at an auction last week and since I live in Baltimore and she lives in Buffalo, I'm going to drive it to her. Halloween is my fav holiday anyway. 🦇

my husband doesnt celebrate vday. Hes made no plans or suggestions, im lucky I get a card at this point. Also the Daytona 500 is on 🙄 so thats the start of being a nascar widow. So I think im just going to practice my Ms Xpose routines. Velvet - I love that idea! I love getting creative but ive got no follow through or anyone who'd appreciate it.

V.V. you are so crafty!! What a great idea with the VIP class! My man and I are going to a couples pole class at the studio. It should be really fun! Then he gets a lap dance at home (I'm incorporating some of Saschapole's moves, especially the shocker) and we'll just take it from there...

getting really drunk with my friends! 😀 my bf will be in berlin, and i will be at an anti valentines party. 🙄 I will probably get a phone call though. If I'm lucky. 😉 VV that is so COOL. 😀

Well, I'm single this Valentine's day for the first time in three years...yay? I probably won't be doing anything at all! But I hope you all have fun 🙂

Audball-That sounds fun. I just realized I've never been to a french restaurant! We tend to go to Italian or Mexican. lol I will have to go to one sometime. 🙂 Boring? Nah, all that is need is you and your bf! Have fun you two! polergirl- He has seen a video once and a prettier dance. But nothing sexy just for him! I can't wait, I'm excited about it. verucablue-Mortified sounds awesome! Too bad they aren't coming to my area. My husband and I's first date was on Halloween (we were long distance and meet up at his home town.) We actually got our picture taken together b/c of our costumes. Most people don't have their first date on camera! Now that we have a house I want to throw a costume party. There are so many ideas, but Martha Stewart website has some of the best! Check it out sometime. poleophile - Thanks. You should see my "Bed, Bath, and Beyond" (get it? 😉 gift card I made him last year! It had items he could "buy" on the back! The names were the greatest. lol Is it a class made for couples or a class you are taking together? Have fun with the lapdance! minicoopergrl- My husband isn't big on romantic gestures either. He said he was planning something but I'm try not getting my hopes up. lol Now that he knows what I planned maybe he will try harder! He enjoys going out with me but he tells me he'd rather ME plan stuff b/c he never thinks to/sucks at it. He likes to just show up. Maybe he is the same way? Sometimes its annoying, but I like planning things, so I take over. You could plan something afterwords or on another day? Doesn't have to be big, just time together is good. It is a class for couples. There will be about 4 or 5 couples, and Eric will take the men for a lesson and one of the girls will take us for a lesson and then we have to dance for each other!!! There will be chairs and feather boas involved. Eric's done these before and they're super fun and now that my hubby's been working out on the pole, he's open to it! Yes, that's right, he's taking Veena's lessons! He's been doing the warm up, the strength training and is working on the the half spin!! He has new-found respect for us polers, lol!!!! 👍

Hey Fleur, We met in NYC last march don't know if you remember 🙂 But I hear you, I am single this Valentines day for the first time in 5 Years. in fact, this Valentines would have been our 6 year anniversary 🙁 I miss him terribly and am still in love with him so its hard...but i need time for myself now. So my plan is to go see Wolfman with some single girlfriends, and eat lots of brownies lol...simple guilty pleasures. And I will probably pole dance for myself this time! Sadly to say my husband is out of town. He plows snow in Maryland and they got hammered and they keep getting more snow every couple of days. He was trying to get back on Saturday, and return Sunday night or Monday morning for the next batch of snow, but complications of empolyees, equipment breaking down etc. He might get to come home sometime next week. Although he has a trip planned for CA for the weekend of the 18th. So I plan on trying to figure out how I can send a video email sexy outfit and pole for him. Or Skype. At home I have Valentine goodie bags for the kids and take one of my dogs to get a shot.

I am not single this year but ive had terrible valentines days in the past so its become a day i dont really look forward to, but this is the first year im with the new bf so i figured we shoiuld do something....sooo were going to white castle! they set it up with candles and decorate it and you actually have someone come take your order, were going on a double date with my friend and her bf and her and i are getting really dressed up because whats better than eating sliders in a fancy dress? nothing! and if you are single just treat it like another day and then go buy up all the 50% off candy the next day....not like i ever did that before...*cough cough*

We are in Lake Tahoe for a long weekend. So, I plan on spending the day skiing my ass off on Heavenly mountain, then curling up fireside with my hubby, my dog, and my giant tacky heart box of Russell Stover candy! Every year that's all I ask for, the biggest heart they sell in the drugstore filled with bad overly sweet chocolate. Love it!

My boyfriend and I are just going to be hanging out around the house for v-day. Hopefully we can finally finish my stage so i can give him a show!!! We were supposed to go see a Lollie Bomb show (its a fetish burlesque group) tonight but they were sold out =(. Check them out on facebook they are some super hot ladies!! We are probably going to cook a valentines dinner together (he dosent know yet but I got him 2 beautiful steaks for v-day lolol)! Then we have a partner yoga class to go to!! im soooooooo freakin excited! When we get home ill put on my cute lil outfit and do some dancin for my man =] Gah i love him 😉 im such a romantic lol

I had some friends come over and FINALLY got my pole up with their help so yay for that! However, when hanging out with my boy today, he was mostly playing computer games while I was reading in the sun...or rushing home to sort out my pole:/ And now I'm at my parents' place for dinner while he's at home! Not the most together V day but we had some *ahem* time together this morning and I had put together a V Day present that was a basket with some of his favourite things in it and then I tricked him into finding it on the front porch by pretending I was scared that I'd been followed from my car (where I'd kept the present) by an over-enthusiastic ginger cat that I needed him to protect me from!

hehe VV wow some of those ideas are brilliant! this one was mostly just a bunch of single people I know....(and ME cos my bf is away) getting quite tipsy and dancing and shouting about how much we hate Valentines hehe. It was fancy dress and my friend wanted everyone to come as their favorite, independent woman/man.
