Watching videos on iPad

So I started doing the strength routine on my iPad with my new Jambox and at about 12:00, it froze. I waited and started it again and it froze, but this time with no sound through the speakers! I tried some music through the speakers and it worked fine. Then I started the video again and it froze again! I logged out, logged in went back to the video and this time it froze at 13:45. I'm baffled--is there anything I can do about this? Thanks in advance!
