Transitioning to heels

Hi all,
I’ve been dancing in bare feet for awhile. Maybe it’s inevitable, but I’m starting to get interested in putting on those sexy af platform heels and giving it a go. The problem is I’ve never gotten comfortable in street heels, so I had zero experience (other than an occasional pretty pose). Do any of you know of any good “pole dancing in heels 101” resources? I’m hoping for more than just an article… or at least something that’ll explain in depth how to walk and balance and offer some practice exercises.

For those who used to be in my position, how did you learn?

HI! Heels are so much fun! You can use the toe box to pivot around for all kinds of transitions!

Here are a few things that will help you get started. Hopefully someone else will share their ideas or links too.

Veena is amazing and I’m sure she can help you with this, but I would like put it out there. I have the opposite issue. I have always danced in the big sexy heels so I feel awkward without them on the pole.
I found that a lot of people don’t know how to dance/move in them . I teach specific “heel focused’ class on the Salut app. I would love to share the link with you if Veena is OK with that. I just don’t want to offend. This is her business….lol
