I recently tried russian leanback and liked it- until I noticed everyone on Insta points the top foot. I tried it again and since then find it sooo scary to unhook the top foot!

Anyone else feel like this and anyone got any tips? It’s frustrating as it’s such a pretty move 🙁

Unhooking the top foot will come with time. You can only do this if you have a super secure knee pit grip, then it’s not a problem. Because this uses an Outside Knee Pit Grip focus on making sure your hips are low enough that the back of the thigh and but touch before moving the free leg into place. Keep the low leg of the hooked leg turning across the pole. Like shown in this lesson https://www.studioveena.com/lessons/view/5e7be01a-3240-43d8-a75a-308bac110005 (outside knee pit grip)
