Video Issues :(

Ok, for the last week i would say. When i go to the video section of the forum, I see this http://localhosthttp://img.photobucket.com/albums/v504/megan46385/SVvideo.jpg Notice the black screen with white lettering all across. The first video is always like this, and never plays for me. 🙁 When i click on the video to bring up the description and comment section. Same thing. Black background, white lettering. But also it does not load the other video's under it. See below http://localhosthttp://img.photobucket.com/albums/v504/megan46385/svvideo2.jpg I dont know what is wrong. I've updated my flash player. It isn't that. Im on windows 7 also, so i dont know if that helps. 🙁

ok, went and checked out the video's on hubbys pc. He has Vista.. I can see all the video's fine. Plus..i haven't gotten new video's i've seen in the last day (since i posted my video) I dont know if its a window's 7 issue or what

any other suggestions? I was over at a friends house today and logged on (since she has windows 7 as well) made sure her flash was up to date ect...same thing on her computer. Im starting to wonder if it is a issue with Win7 😕

bump I also noticed the same thing is happening to me with the lessons. I have canceled my subscription to them for now because i can't view part of them 🙁

Megs, When you update flash do you click the yellow bar at the top of IE 8. Flash doesn't actually install until you allow it to be installed. Also have you tried downloading a new browser such as chrome or FireFox?

Yes, im allowing it to download. I will get firefox, and see if it helps on that.

Virus scan came back clean. I ended up d/l chrome. Video's work fine on that. Im assuming at this point it is IE on windows 7.

It's not IE, Windows 7 is one of my test platforms and I don't have the problem on IE. It could be a plugin that your computer manufacturer installed however. IE often gets loaded up with all kinds of junk from your computer manufacturer that actually interferes with your browsing experience.

Chrome is a great browser solution however, it is faster than IE, and ultimately more secure. It also keeps itself up to date transparently so you don't need to always download the newest version to plug security holes.
