YES! When are we gettingstarted? What do we need? I CANT WAIT!!! Gonna do this w my kiddies too!
I've been wanting to try hooping, but couldn't decide whether or not to get a weighted hoop, 'cause my kids' cheap ones just fall to the floor!?! Obviously I need some lessons!
Oh, I hope I can make a hoop :) We just have the ones that little kids use for gimnastics, and they're too light. And Amazon don't ship here these kind of packages :( I'll wait for the lessons. Great idea!

Sweet!!! I have just started hooping the past few months, this will help so much!
I'm super happy about this! I really want to learn.

Yay! I'm so excited V! What a great idea for the online studio. So many studios now a days offer more than pole so it's great to see Studio Veena expanding and offering additional supplemental workouts that incorporate dance. ❤️ I look forward to these lessons!
THANK YOU!!!!!!!
THANK YOU!!!!!!!
Great! :)Now it's time to pick up my hoop-I keep it behind the wardrobe-what a shame!! :)

YAY 🥂 i will probably suck (lol @sarah's comment) but i'm going to get a hoop and try it anyway! so excited!! :D
Veena, this might actually get me back in my hoop. It's been a little neglected, to be honest! I actually started getting the hang of waist hooping and hip hooping, too! *sigh* It's so hard!

Instructions for making your own hoop ~ I used them and made several hoops! They work great!!! http://www.jasonunbound.com/hoops.html Then I ordered "hoop tape" online to decorate them. Here is a link for that too! http://www.amazon.com/s/?ie=UTF8&keywords=hoop+tape&tag=googhydr-20&index=aps&hvadid=7666901265&ref=pd_sl_5f7la14qrw_e
I used to do rhythmic gymnastics. Can't wait to see what's in store.
YAY! I love hooping sooooo much :-) thankyou to Veena for inspiring me with her wonderful hoop vids a while back, I've been hooked ever since ;-)
I found a great place for anyone on the UK to buy their hoops: www.handmadehoops.co.uk I've got several from him now, they're beautiful! HTH :-)
Are any lessons up yet? I probably wouldn't be able to anyway, being preggers and all, but just wondering...
Veena ·
Roamy, if I post any new lessons they show up in the daily newsletter and on the front of the site in the lessons category. I also share them out on my twitter account on the Studioveena.com Facebook page. My goal is to have "How to Make a Hoop" up by next week sometime. I have not been feeling well since Friday. 🙁
Oh no! Hope you feel better! Is the daily newsletter the thing that is emailed to us? Or the featured items? I am not computer savvy by the least, so forgive me. I have trouble navigating sites and such! I am great at many things,....but computers eh- not so much(as you may have seen so far w/my many questions from time to time on searching or finding things:)). Thanks
Veena ·
Yes, new lessons are send out in the Daily Newsletter under the featured lessons. There are always 2 featured lessons posted in the Daily. Not all of the featured are new, but when I do post new lessons, that is where they are. New lessons are also posted under the lessons section on the front of the site.

Just an up date: I hope to start posting hooping lessons by end of November.

veena, are aerial silks in the future for studioveena lessons? just wondering- there are no classes within 100 miles of me and i would love lessons and i see a lot of veeners were mentioned aerial silks in this post 😉
Veena ·
Not anytime soon! I have never even tried Silks/tissu. 😀
Hey azblanco. Living in South Africa makes it even more difficult to find silks training! Try http://www.antepenultimate.org/mediawiki/index.php/Glossary ; and http://community.simplycircus.com/tutorials/aerial/aerial_silks.htm for some info
