Veena's Lessons

Ok so my bf surprised me by getting and installing a pole for me while I was working the other day! I was so 😀 when I got home as I'm sure you can imagine - but then I was like: now what? It was surprising how clueless I felt. I thought I would instinctivly do SOMETHING, but the last time I'd touched a pole was when I was 10 and playing at a park! (You know when you just grab onto a pole with one hand and pivot/swing around it as fast as you can until you're gonna hurl?) 🤮 SO I decided to download Veena's lessons so that I could grab a clue, and OH MY WORD they totally rock!! I'm so thankful! Its so nice to have even the simple basics demonstrated so that you've got a place to start. If you're just touching a pole for the first time, I'd highly recommend the lessons. I'm excited and I've got hope for the future! YAY! 🥂

☀️ I just bought a months trial of veena's lesson and wow , there awsome. My first night useing them and veena kicked my ass im exhausted. Thanks veena for the great lessons and hope fully some day i can do a gracious fan kick like you. So back to my main point veenas lessons are the greatest.

I want to take Veena lesson too but I will have to wait a little bit for $$$ 🙁 I'm already done with most of the basic spin I found on internet and a can't wait to start on her intermediate move. 2dizzy I know what you mean with the parc 😂

How are you using the lessons? And how long are you spending on each video? I just bought the lessons yesterday and I'm trying to decide how much time I need to spend in each area. I'm looking forward to learning how to do this correctly instead of just winging it 😀 Any suggestions would be helpful. TIA!

I love the lessons as well. I was just taking another look at them today, actually. They are so well laid out--very helpful. Big thanks to Veena for such a valuable resource! One questions though--are we going to be seeing some more floorwork and transition videos? I love floorwork.

Actually...... I just finished recording 24 lessons on Transitions and floorwork. Many of them are new and a few are just updated. I'll add even more at a later date! I am also in the process of re doing all of the spins as well. I'll be add a few new lessons here and there, but the focus for now is to updated all the old lessons that are left.....as soon as that is done I have a big surprise for everyone!!! 🥂 I can't tell you how happy it makes me to hear that you all are enjoying the lessons!!! 😀 😀 😀

You friggin' tease! I can't wait to see the new lessons. I'm glad to hear you're re-doing the old vids, too--not that they are bad, but they're quite a bit darker than the new ones, which are really nicely lit. (Plus I love the slide-outs.) My video settings are screwed up and I'm not sure what to change to fix them, so any videos that are a little on the darker side are sometimes really hard for me to see. (I can see the old vids, though. It's just a little harder to make out some details, especially when I'm standing a little ways away at my pole.) Can't wait! And can I say I love the lap dance vids? You guys are so funny together. 😂 I think I'm going to try the chair invert on my boyfriend the next time I give him a lap dance. I just hope I don't somehow bonk him with my lady bits or something. 😂

Have you tried turning up brightness on your computer screen? I'm guessing you have but I'm not good with technology and it took me forever to realize I could adjust the brightness of my screen. LOL I hope to start uploading the new versions by the end of this week....but we'll see. 🌸

Yep. It's not the screen--that's at 100% brightness. It's some kind of setting on my computer that is screwed up. I messed with something one time because I occasionally play games on my computer, and the game I was playing was so dark I couldn't see most of it, so I went in and fiddled with a bunch of stuff. Unfortunately, I have no clue what I messed with so I can't go back and change it. I'm not super tech-savvy either, so I'm afraid to screw around too much. Technology really, really hates me--somehow I would manage to blow the computer up or something. lol

Jonesy I would mostly try them in order since Veena has strategically built the lessons basic to more complicated (pole sit then wrist sit, or crusifix then pole climb or half spin to fireman). There are a couple that I need to watch two or three or even four times, and that I'll go back to later down the road. Some you can probably pick up on right away. I broke them down into stretching and strength training the first day, her floorwork and climbs etc. the second day, and then the spins the thrid day.... but doing so many spins at one time made me pretty sick so you might want to mix things up a little more! 😁 I think as long as you follow the basic structure, your individuality will determine how you bounce around! Have fun and let us know how things go!

correct me if i'm wrong, but weren't you pregnant in the old videos veena? i think it's nice to see the old videos and then view the new ones, compare them to each other and see the differences. like the hair, the clothes. i really enjoy them. thanks so much! 😁

lol yes I was pregnant! I had really bad nausea. Doing the lessons actually helped, 🥂 I think it distracted me from how sick I felt!! 🤮 🤮 I did all the advance and inverted moves ASAP, and left the spins and other lessons for later. I was done with all of them before I was even 3 months along, so other than feeling a little green, you can't see that I'm preggers. 🤓 The old vids will be no more in a few weeks. LOL

awww thanks!! The old ones were good, but I'm really excited about the new ones, and I have had great feedback from everyone loving the Points.Of.Contact. and better view. It will be a bit bittersweet when everything is updated and I no longer see my old pole room, where everything began!! 😕

woot! another newbie! just got my pole and signed up for lessons today 🤸 i have only had the lessons for an hour but so far so good 👍 👍 👍 and i am loving my pole!! its either a 45 or 50mm chorme xpole (pre'10 model)... Idk the size because i got it off craigslist for 100 dollars 🙂 effing love the craig!! I really do wonder what size it is though...

If you really want to know, you could take a tape measure and measure the circumference of the pole, and then just divide by pi. I've recently done the same. 🙂

I just love your new lessons. The Slink and Bodywave. I also love the colors you are wearing 😀 Then you also matched the color of the words too. An added extra touch. Thank you so much. Keep them coming. I am learning so much. 🥂
