hey ladies just thought i'd start a thread to see who's in which USPDF workshops at NYPD! i just signed up today for: Thurs Alethea Sun Mina and Brook Notary i'm also in both of marlo's pole groove classes @ Body & Pole on saturday =)

i'm in alethea's saturday workshop! i have to schedule at least one more at nypd but can't decide :) amy, how can i see what classes are at body and pole that weekend? i'm guessing they're different than normal. i'd love to take a class with marlo!

Lilblondie, as of right now the classes at b&p are as per te schedule posted online. They have said to me that they will be having additional classes with kyra and Steven as well but I don't think they have determined those yet. Angel- yaaaay! Will be so much fun :)

I'll be teaching a USPDF Workshop too! It's a 1.5 hour Climb & Spin class on Friday, April 29th from 10-11:30am. Come get your dance one! You'll get to learn a choreographed routine that includes at least 1 spin or combo spin, climbing or a spinning climb, a stationary bent-arm pose, dance transitions and floor-work... just like the routines I post. I place a strong emphasis on bio-mechanics, technique, artistry, style and musicality. Hope to see you in class!

HOPEFULLY - i'm #1 on waitlist :( sun: maybe 10am flexibility workshop -- would anyone recommend this? marlo - signature moves (b&p) steven - lines (b&p) anyone who was signed up for b&p classes, they just changed them to special workshops that weekend! i had a workshop with marlo in boston this weekend and she tipped me off to the change ...

lilblondie, i take isaac's weekly flexibility classes at B&P 2x a week, and i storngly recommend them. he studies with contortionists and has been teaching yoga for 15 years.
awesome! i've done both yoga and contortion classes and loved both so it'll be fun to get another coach's perspective :)

Ooh!!! Nice! Which did you sign up for? 11:30 or 1:00? Now I'm debating to switch from Thursday to Saturday with you. But idk if my body can handle Jenyne plus 2 pole jams in 1 day! LOL! I just signed up for Karol's Sunday 2:30pm class. I love her! She's cool peoples and a great instructor.

I meant to say I signed up for 1:00pm. hehe. i know what you mean ... i'm doing jenyne's workshop and then alethea's. then, the next day i'm doing two more. not sure if i'll pull through! you probably have the right idea spacing them out if you can. hope i'll still get to meet everyone though :)
Lol! Hardcore, girl! I can't handle that. Doubles daily. I do doubles but spaced out a week between. -=X Since you're doing 4 now, you might as well sign up for a 5th and get the 6th one free. LOL!

There are still some spots left in my INVERT DRILLS workshop too! Friday, April 29th from 10-11:30 at New York Pole Dancing. I've posted 3 videos to give you a little taste of how we get down in Invert Drills. INVERT DRILLS WORKSHOP DESCRIPTION: What’s the key to nailing the gemini, scorpio, chopper, superman, jade split, cross ankle release, handstands and other inverts? Technique, strength, flexibility, coordination, timing and… practice! INVERT DRILLS is a boot-camp style workshop that begins with a 45 minute warm-up and deep stretch focusing on spine mobility plus hip and shoulder openers to maximize flexibility for splits and backbends. The remaining 45 minutes is dedicated to a series of drills designed to simulate specific inverts safely and with a focus on proper muscle recruitment, technique and endurance. Open Level. No inverting experience is required.
