I am getting this feeling that since I didn't get an acceptance email yet i am not going to, but it would sure be nice to get any email at all! Yeah, the wait for even a denial email has been waaaay too long. It's kind of cruel! 🙁

Yea seriously! I don't really care if I didn't make it... with what girls who did make it I would be surprised if I did... but damn... another whole day and no email? that's fucked up! I actually sent USPDF an email asking when we would receive one. LOL

I spoke with her this morning. still hasnt heard either.....very upset bc at the west coast after party she was told by the USPDF people that they wanted her to enter again in the next one and would be sad if she didnt....she's confused now as to why they said that....

Amy is awesome! She trained with Jenyne and I believe with Fawnia at one point but now works with Jeynyne on occasion.
After two weeks of nail biting, I got the 'rejection' e-mail saying that I didnt make the final 6, but until all finalists are confirmed, I'm still considered a runner up. And to send in a vid next time (I'm hoping to one day make it, even if I'm 70 years old, lol 😀 ) Do we know who got the last spot??
Yes, I finally got a rejection email saying the same thing - runner up until people are confirmed. The email did say, "We're planning to host more than one national competition in 2010, and hopefully by our third year in the works (2011) we'll be able to offer various categories and more spots in the amateur division. We do encourage you submit next time as we witness several of the re-submission videos show great improvement." I'll see you all in the audience at the pro division!
I got the same letter!! LOL at least we finally know 😛 Geez!!!

oh well, i still wanna know who the 6th person is... guess we'll find out after they update the uspdf site.. glad you guys finally got a response..

Bah, I got my rejection letter too 🙁 At least I'm in good company. I was at the studio last night, and we were guessing who the 6th amateur competitor was, and we guessed maybe Winter Rainone?
