Hey folks! Seeing as how so many of us are traveling to NY for the big comp, let's get an idea of where people are staying. I think it'd be so cool if we can all be close that way we can hang and go out together and bounce from room to room. Does anyone have their room yet? If so where is it?

I am sooooooooooooooooooo jealous! Stupid marathon (actually it's my first and I'm very excited but why oh why does it have to be the same weekend!?!?) please tell me you all will be going in 2011, too?? 🤸

I would like to know too, I haven't booked anything yet, I just want to know where you guys are staying and I will jump in that wagon and book with you guys. I am coming all by myself from Canada and I have never been in NY, I know, I'm like a country girl for the first time in the city, hahahahahahaha. also, I am booked for Alethea's workshop on Saturday march 20th, 2:30 to 4pm, is anyone else going to that one???? and I'm at Left Side Orchestra Row S, Seat 3 for the pro competition, I'd like to know if someone from here is sitting close to me.

Hey Sissy - Doing the Suntrust National, DC. We've run the 1/2 for the past 2 years - going for the wholw shibang this year - so far so good - I know you all will have a wonderful time!!! Let me know when you're up for running again, maybe we could do a race together - when does your cast come off?
I've been out of town for 2 weeks so forgive me if I'm posting stuff that has gone up already elsewhere! The Poletential crew, which includes me and Fleur among others, is staying at The W New York - The Court. 130 East 39th Street, Between Lexington and Park Avenue. Just a 10 minute walk to Times Square. We've got all kinds of clients and friends coming, we're pretty much taking over Manhattan. 😂 I hope others end up close by and look forward to meeting you all!! 😀
Hey chickies!!! I'll probably be staying at the W too. Ive been looking into hotel prices and whatnot. I have 3 girls in my a room now, looking for one more. its probably going to be a one king bed with pull out sofa bed deal...it's running approx $85 a night with taxes and all split 4 ways...Im coming in on Thursday the 18th and checking out way early in the am on the 22nd so I'd like the girls I room with to be on the same schedule hit me up if you're interested!

The Charlottesville, VA crew stayed at the Wellington Hotel last year and that's where we are headed again. 4 of us are sharing a room, so it will run us about $68 perperson per night. look forward to seeing some of you again and meeting others!

I'll be at the Courtyard Marriott Upper East Side. Rates are $200 per room. A bunch of us girls from Maryland will be there.

Hey Angel, Just want to be sure you realize that you're not really close to the theater. You're on the upper east side, 92nd and 1st avenue, so all the way east almost on the river. The theater is at 95th and Broadway on the upper WEST side, and you have the entirety of Central Park between you. You have to go more than halfway across the city. Not a big deal really, just wanted to be sure you were aware. 🙂

I thought the theater was on the upper east. oh shit! you can take the M96 bus across town, it's cheap but it will take you about 45 min-1hr in traffic. a cab will be be about $15 during dinner rush hour but can only fit 4. you'll be okay, but if you CAN change your reservations.... you might want to, as i dont think you will want to be going crosstown all weekend long! the name of the theatre is symphony space, not circle, i'm not sure if that played a part in the location confusion...
I thought the theater was on the upper east. oh shit! angel I think the rooms at the w are similar in price and it seems that's where most folks are staying.

I just made plans be in NYC for USPDF. I may have a girlfriend comming with, BUT I am all up for making hotel arragments if anyone still needs a roomie. I can bring my x pole 🙂 I will be staying thursday and friday night only. Please let me know if you or anyone you know has room. Thanks!
