underwear for tiny pole shorts?

I just received Bad Kitty's Brazil Pole Fit shorts in the mail the other day and I LOVE them - they look super cute on and they're very comfy. However, I'm not used to wearing shorts that are this cheeky and ride this low, and I can't wear my normal underwear without it peeking through. I own only one thong - I generally find them distracting and uncomfortable but I feel like it's something I should get used to for certain pole outfits. I'm realizing though that having only one thong to wear isn't going to cut it if I'm going to start wearing them more often for pole. So do you ladies have any recommendations? I'm on a tight budget (I really don't want to pay much more than $10 for one pair of underwear - or is this limit unreasonable?) and would prefer something breatheable/athletic that won't peek through. I saw that Bad Kitty has one style on sale, but I'm worried the outline of the logo will show through the shorts on the front. Plus, the shipping alone costs more than the underwear...

I wear H&M's thongs. They come in black, white and skin color, and are quite comfortable (let's be realistic, there always comes a time during the day/or pole training when you'll "feel" the thong" lol). A set of 3 is less than 10$. If you want cheap and breathable go for cotton thongs from your local family department store. (ie. In Canada, Zellers and Walmart are my go-to stores. I don't know what you have for options where you live.) You may want to try different styles too, Around here I see two slightly different styles, same basic shape but some have more of a "string" that goes up your bottom, on others it's wider maybe just under an inch wide. I personally find the string style more comfortable. They both get right in there 😲, but I find the string style less noticeable overall. 🥂

I have been wearing thong underwear for over 25 years. In my opinion, Hanky Panky are the most comfortable out there. I probably have about 30+ pairs. I pretty much cannot wear regular panties anymore, and other thongs now seem to bother me. They are a bit pricy, but well worth it if you're going to try them. Get the low rise. They are the best for fitting under the tiny pole shorts.

I prefer thongs made of fabric blends so the garment will keep it's shape and not stretch/gap over time. If you find them uncomfortable you may consider changing into them with your other pole apparel and then changing out into your normal garments after pole time. Or in time maybe you will find a new preference.

I'm supposed to wear something underneath? I find just the (made for) 'pole' shorties enough for coverage, and other shorts I wear poling I wear victoria's secret silly message undies underneath and usually flash my studio girls with (the message)- nothing else intentionally or unintentionally. Yandy is a good source for full view before purchase. I hate too much fabric up in there, my bum eats anything not a string when I move in the slightest. But on a side note Bad Kitty Brazilian short I luv, but regardless on my diet (size 6) or not (size 10) my bum crack shows in them, from size Medium to X Large, anyone else? That's why I would wear undies - but doesn't help. I got a lot of beautiful bum bum, I don't mind showing , only the crack is embarassing.

I choose all cotton thongs with a thin flat elastic. The elastic is actually sewn to the edge of the cloth thus avoiding the layers around the elastic that are quit thick, uncomfortable and can leave you a bit sore from time to time. These thongs lay flat to your skin and can be worn under the thinnest of attire without leaving lines. No bows or ribbons to deal with, these are very simple and inexpensive, I get them from WalMart. Occasionally you will find them in single on sale for as little as a buck but I normally purchase them in packs of 3 for around $6. These are not thongs I would choose for show but are great for under your skimpies!

I second target. They carry a line of ultra-light weight wicking fabric undies. I get the low rise panties and thongs in black or flesh toned and they work under everything and show no lines.

Do you remember what the brand is? I bought a bunch of nude coloured mesh, low-rise thongs from Express & VS years ago but I've used themso much under performance gear that its time to replace them...and they don't sell them anymore :(

The ones I get from Walmart are No Boundaries. Very simple, frills panties. You can get print ones or plain. Flesh tone is not a real popular color though I only have one pair that color.

I had written something regarding this when someone was asking about things you should know if you are going to compete or perform....there is a lot to be said for the safety thong/g-string. One, if you do have a costume malfunction typically the thong or gstring is so "up there" that it will stay put. Two, it cuts down on camel toe a bit. Three, and this is TMI for some of you, the excitement/nerves that happen before you go on stage can cause wet spots. Typically the lighting is low but the safety thong will help.

I love getting thongs from Charlotte Russe. They frequently have sales for 5 pairs for $10, pick your own pairs. Sometimes it's hard to find something cute in your size, but I always come home with new, cute underwear after I've dug through the bins enough. The good thing about that is that you can pick a variety of styles, material, and sizes without spending too much on them. Quality may not be the very best, but I have some pairs that I still wear several years after I bought them.

My favorite pair only lasted so long.When the washing machine was taking it's toll on them, I went shopping and just never found a pair that was as confy ,So I made a pattern from them and I sew new ones . It leaves the sky the limit on how I want them to look with the comfort and security of the originals. It did take me a few practice pairs to sew before I mastered making them. You would be surprised how many pairs I can make out of a half a yard of fabric..

Veena, I really do swear by Hanky Panky low-rise thongs! Sensual, Victoria's Secret has some booty shorts that I can pole in. Some have cute sayings on them. I still wear a thong underneath, though.

Shaphyre, Do the Hanky Pankys crawl up the "front" at all...that's my big issue it hurts 😲 I like wearing thongs but after a while it's too painful, I don't understand how other women handle it!! I must have a hungry Vajayjay..... lol

Not at all! They are a very thin/comfortable material but still have a "normal" width at the crotch. The thong part is not a string. It is about 2" wide. Hungry Vajayjay!!! I have never worn a thong while poling and i intend on keeping it that way! Haha i wear thongs on a day to day basis just not while poling. i get seam free low rise shots and there really comfortable and not expensive at all.. if you find a ballet storelike online you will get the most comfortable underwear ever! There seamless made for dancing breathable and normally quite reasonable! I have no idea on a site you could search on i use dancedirect.com its a UK site but im from Ireland so p+p isnt too expensive maybe you could check it out and get an idea! :)
