Hey Everyone, I'm a few weeks into really poling. I seem to have developed a blister on my hand just underneath my ring finger. Do I have to stop poling? Can I place a band aid over it? Don't know what to do... 🤔

Welcome to pole! You can try using a bandaid or if they still make new skin you could try that. If left open it may just keep ripping which will be worse. You will eventually have callouses where the blisters are.
hi i was just about to start a new topic on blisters before i saw this one. My friend gets really bad blisters from the pole on her fingertips (i just get little bits of hard skin sometimes) I told her it was prob becuase her hands were sweaty and that combined with a warm pole and repeated pole spins can maybe cause it. But i was wondering how you would prevent blisters in the first place? I dont wanna get them myself although i generally have cold dry hands all the time anyways. Would just drying your hands all the time and using grip aids work? My friend is still a beginner and so still learning spins so i thought grip aid might hinder her spins slightly. Anyone got any ideas on how to prevent em? 🙂
I have callouses on my hands, more on my ring fingers and I haven't found anyway to avoid them. I used to get these from weightlifting and I remedied that with wearing gloves but we can't wear gloves in pole so....you gotta get used to it.
