Err posting 3 times!! HAha I look keen :)
How cool! I'm very interested too :) I have one 45 xpert pole and quite a large space in which to practice but from the looks of how many people are going I wouldn't be able to fit us all in my lounge lol but after the jam I'm def up for small jams with local northern polers :D I get so bored practicing by myself! I'm gonna bring my massive heels and a fully charged camera ;D
Wow, I didn't expect this thread to take off quite so well, whooop! Thanks for offering your studio space. I am definately up for that weekend (already in the diary!) My pole buddy,who doesn't use SV as she's comp illiterate lol would like to come too if that's ok with people? Eeeek this is very exciting! :-D
Becky, any ideas on cost of Dans workshop? Just a rough idea would be great so people can start budgeting their weekend? :-)
Hi folks! I travel up to Manchester area quite often to visit family so I might be able to come too if you don't mind a soft Southerner joining in! LOL Most of you probably know me anyway from SpinnyTbags and Pole Dance Jewellery websites. Love Spinny Check out the best UK polestore http://www.everythingpoledancing.co.uk ;
This sounds like great fun! I'm from just outside Liverpool so a trip over to Manchester isn't far AT ALL. Will have a chat with some of the girls I go to lessons with and see if they're interested 😀
So gutted I can't make this. Specially as its with my studio!!! Would have loved to meet some veeners. You'll all have a great time.. Becky is an amazing!! I expect to see lots of pics and videos!! Xx
Hazel, what is the studio called?
It is Blush Dance. I'm using my phone so dont know how to copy the web address. They do a few showcases as well so if anyone is around and wants to go see them, details are usually on the website. :D xx
lol i LOVE your name other-hazel!!! I'm away for the next week but will come back to this thread when i'm back from holiday and see what the plan is then :) that weekend is in my diary! I would probably sign up for one of dan's workshops but am a bit poor so doubt i'd be able to make both of them. See all you lovely northern chickees soon!
Ok I vote for the benefit of me and hazelhotpants that can't make that weekend we plan to make this a regular thin maybe every few months :) or more? Hehe the photos and vid will be brill can't wait to see! Veena should be proud that she can bring so many people together :)
Hi lovelies, am happy to host one every month we use four different studios around manchester so can change the venue to suit different people too. I have booked the studio at Hazel Grove for sat 17th and sun 18th as it is free all weekend and we can put aerial swings and hoops up there too to mix it up. Dan Rosens workshops will be the sat jam is the sunday and dan's workshps are £35 each (1.5 hour per workshop) and £60 if you do both. When I put the booking page up for the workshops I will make an event on here ytoo for both the jam and the workshops. It will be lovely to meet so many of you xx Becky xx
Where in th uk? I'm from fife so would be up for it defo. xxx
C'mon, surely you've read the thread!!! Manchester!!!

Brilliant Becky - never done any aerial stuff. I am getting more and more excited by the day. Do we need to sign up for the workshops or need to pay in advance?
Hazel grove is perfect for me. I live near there so I can help people with train times and meet them at the station if need be
Oo I've been dying to try the aerial hoop for ages! Not sure I have enough strength for it though. Which train station is nearest to the studio? Need to price things up as much in advance as possible 'cause moneys kinda tight at the moment :(
