Twirly Girls fundraiser

I just wrote a blog about our studio's fundraiser to benefit one of our students. She has had three kidney transplants. Check it out. Even if you aren't in the area, people can donate through the National Kidney Foundation's website (listed on the blog). Yes, I'm going :) Have we met at Twirly Girls already? I've been there a few times. Was this event posted on the Events section of sv? Make sure to let me know who you are in case I don't recognize you. Any other veneers in the area?

lolora, great event today! You and everyone did an excellent job. By the way, I am very, very impressed with your performance. It was beautiful, I wish I could move my body like that. AND your handstand to the pole was just stunning!!!! Funny that we had met before at the first workshop with Shelly Lamb, that was fun also. Thank you and the Twirly Girls for welcoming me into your pole family :)

You're welcome and thank you so much!! I was nervous, especially since I'm not as graceful or flexible as a lot of the other girls. I did realize once I saw you at TG that we had met...I couldn't see your name on here and wasn't sure from the pics... I know you came a loooooooong distance, so thank you for that!!! :-) Your free dance was awesome! I should have some videos on Facebook in the next couple of days.

Thanks for sharing this with me. It was so much fun. I'm glad I didn't look around at the other gals during that free dance. I didn't realize everyone was doing such nice transitions and body movement, I'm just not good at that. I told Shelly I needed help in that area. I know they are all good at it, but decided to get out of my comfort zone and do it anyway.

I thought you did a great job!! And I'd much rather be able to pull off tricks than have smooth transitions. You can learn transitions. I'm awhile away from being strong enough to do tricks! :-D
