So, I've been wondering this ever since the word "twerk" has become part of our mainstream culture... How is "Twerking" different from booty shaking/bouncing/popping? I'm so confused. Oo;

Twerking and booty popping is The same thing. I dont no why people changed the name to a more hip slang word. Maybe because its easyer and shorter to say.

And to add to the confusion, half of what you see people calling it twerking isn't twerking but more just booty shaking...real twerking, google the twerk team...that's twerking lol

as a matter of fact, here's the youtube channel of the twerk team http://www.youtube.com/user/TheOfficialtwerkteam/videos but it's nothing new, been around for years, decades...it just made it mainstream though I guess
