traveling and poling...

When you ladies travel, do you just not pole? How do you find studio, if you do pole? I'm asking because I'm out of town and couldn't bring my xpole...and I hate missing class. I Google searched studios where I am and i only found one, but not much info on them. Lastly...if you're in the New Orleans metro area and know of any studios please let me know! I travel here a lot and the thought of missing pole every time I make trip is making me reconsider...

Yes if I am staying in one place for 4 days or more I find a studio. I usually google the city and pole dance or pole dancing before hand to see what classes are offered and sign up or call the studio to sign up for class.

I google the studios, then I usually check here and Facebook to see if I can find any information on it. If I can't find anything, I would just ask here as you have since this seems to be the busiest pole forum that I've found. If I can't make it to a studio, I still try to keep up with conditioning work that doesn't need equipment. Or, you could just look for a playground nearby and do some outdoor poling.

Azblanco is in NOLA. I know there used to be I think 2 studios there but not sure if that info is still current. A friend of mine used to live there and teach but she has recently gone to NYC to train. Pole while travel for me depends on duration of the trip, if I am with my husband and how far the studio is. I have poled more when travelling alone just because I usually want to keep myself busy in the evenings. When I am with my husband we go out exploring which I don't do as much on my own.
