I know shoes dont have a lifetime warranty on them, but do they make a grip I can put on the bottom of my shoes? I have to pairs that are starting to lose all traction in them. One pair I could care less about them, the other I really want to use for the competition. My husband would rather me have the shoes fixed than buy a new pair. TIA!

I'm pretty sure there are some stick-on pads that you can put on the bottom of shoes to give them extra grip. I was in my aunt's wedding several years ago and they got some for my heels so I wouldn't slip and fall (I was like 12 at the time). I'm sure you can find them in the shoe section of any store, with the Dr. Sholls and stuff.

If you can't find the stick on pads, you can go to a shoe repair and they will be able to remove the current pad and place a new one on.
any shoe store will have grey "pads" that are adhesive. they are shaped like the bottom of a heeled shoe and you can buy a pack with two in it for like two or three bux. also...take a piece of 60 or 80 grit sandpaper and rough up the bottom...also..go outside on the pavement/sidewalk and run the bottom over the concrete really well..if the bottom of the shoe is rubber like they are w pleasers then dont do the aformentioned..just get the grey sticky things. i think you can find them at payless...idk.
This topic is kinda funny to me because I keep trying to wear the traction on all of my shoes down, lol. I actually put black duct tape on one pair because they just would not wear down quickly enough. I like them pretty darned slippy because otherwise I sometimes get caught mid-pirouette or because the traction catches. Back on topic....I have used the grippies on street shoes and have been really happy with them.
