Thoughts on Lap Dancing

Ok... So i already work in a bar where I can dance on the pole, but not nude. I have been offered a job as a lap dancer, they also have a pole there. 🙂 however.... the lap dancing is fully nude. And i dont know how i feel about this.... i mean... i think if i had a thong on i wouldn't be questioning the offer. And i think this is more down to lack of confidence, rather than thinking it is seedy. I was just curious as to what other peoples thoughts are on this? And be brutal, i'm not easily offended. I love being able to dance, and just can't decide what to do. From the sounds of it the club owners are really nice, and keep the club super safe. Anyway, hope you guys can help me make up my mind! 🙂 Thanks x

There is a strip club called De Ja Vue that is fully nude and they have lap dancing as well as nude pole dancing. It is pretty safe so If you love to dance go for it. My only concern would be having my va-jj on anybody's lap.....lol. Also some guys are a bit dis-respectful and like putting their fingers in places they don't belong during a lap dance....however, if you feel safe go for it! Maybe watching or participating in a lap dance with another dancer would help to see if you are comfortable with it. If you think it is your body size or type....trust me....men love any nude woman on them....no need to feel self conscience. 😛

Well I was a stripper before and most guys know they aren't allowed to touch u. Plus they should pay first so if u have to kick them out u get to keep the money 🙂 😳

Im not sure if id be ok w/another guy seeing my cash and prizes. Like you if it was thong, id be a bit more easy about it. But then again, im married so I feel like that area is reserved for my man only, KWIM? I know most clubs around here if the guy is getting a lapdance, they have to sit on thier hands.

I agree with the above, but personally, I know I wouldn't do it! I'm also married, and my goods are for my man...I would have major issues with doing stripping in this way. I did want to add, however, that men don't look at women's bodies the way women do. Women like lots of specifics, especially about their own bodies...you know, muscle definition, well shaped boobs, the ass. We're into specifics because (this is just my own theory) men are kind of boring to look at. There's no curvature or anything, they're just straight...but if you get a little more specific than just "naked man" then OH BOY, there's all kinds of things to think about! 👍 However, men are not so specific. They're just kind of like "Naked woman! 🥂 " and that's about it. They don't think about how your breasts aren't the same size, or how you can't quite bend over all the way because of tight hamstrings (like me) or what shape your rear is. They just like the female form in general, because it's nice to look at...in ALL it's forms! ☀️ So, if you're feeling self-conscious because you don't know if you'll be well-received, then put your fears to rest. A new naked woman is an amazing naked woman. A familiar naked woman...is also an amazing naked woman. 😉

Hmm I would also be nervous about doing it for self-conscious reasons! If I was not engaged, I would be fine with working at a topless club, but maybe not a fully nude club (which is what most of the clubs here in GA are!). I agree with Runemist tho, guys don't notice little flaws that we notice about ourselves. If its a safe, nice club and you feel comfortable doing it then I'd say go for it!! Don't be self-conscious - guys always love a naked girl!

In my own opinion, I was a dancer before, And I feel totally comfortable topless...My cookie on the other hand, not so comfortable. I agree with the above statement about guys trying to put their fingers where they don't belong. Here In Arizona, You can't dance nude in clubs that serve alcohol, Only topless...If You are in a bar that serves liquor and nude dancing, Just prepare yourself, Because at least once in a great while, There might be "accidents" that might make you feel like absolute crap 😨 . Drunk people aren't always predictable. Just find Out what your personal boundaries are, and where you are most comfortable when making your decision.

Thank you so much ladies for the replies!!!! I am not married, and have been single for quite a while. So this isn't an issue. hehe. I've said that I will come to the bar to check it out and see how they work. I do not like the thought of slipped fingers though 😕 Didn't really think about this. And it is a bar where people can drink. hhmmmm I just wish I could muck about on the pole in my sweat pants and gym top for a living!!! That would be perfect!

well.. you CAN muck around on a pole in sweats and a tank if you decide to make pole fitness your living right? You can take the fitness aspect of it and run with it and make money from it if you REALLY work hard. Its all about your own boundries. I have been to clubs where the women are fully nude and do lap dances.. I have always found lap dances as a little too personal for my comfort. I think stripping on a stage/pole is one thing.. the lap dances always kind made me a feel a little uncomfortable for the girls doing it. They never seemed entirely happy about it.. And although MOST humans don't love their jobs, that seems like it would be one where you can absolutely make a load of money, but you would have to be able to compartmentalize what you do for a living versus what you do for personal satisfaction and relationships.

i think it depends too on the contact of the club, idk. We have full nude and alcohol in Ontario so it is like fighting a beast sometimes, a drunk beast with six hands it seems...I was never comfortable with nude LD--and nude pole sort of freaked me out a bit ...if the club is reputable and clean and you are comfortable give it a shot. In looking for a new club, my two criteria were "no touching" and "no nude lap dances." I don't mind doing nude stage dances because if a guy tries to pull any shenanigans, a bouncer will move in and kick him out. Lap dances, however, are nowhere near as heavily monitored. You basically have to fend for yourself in a lap dance unless the club is prestigious enough to have a member of security watching at all times. I honestly don't mind doing lap dances - I even enjoy them with a fun, respectful guy, and it's where we make most of our money - but I personally wouldn't go full nude in a lap dance for two reasons: 1) The obvious; a few rare guys don't see strippers as human, but rather as objects to grope and do whatever they want to them. The fingers and tongue will come out and they completely disregard the no touching policy (if any), and they will counter any protests of yours with, "I was about to leave anyway," "You're no fun," or "Stop being a b*tch." These exist in any club, regardless of the level of nudity, but leaving a thong on during lap dances reduces the risk of successful genital violation. And 2) Taking my thong off during lap dances limits what I am able to do. If I take my thong off, I can't grind on the guy's lap. It's not very sanitary to rub my bare genitals on a guy's pants; I don't want to risk getting a bladder infection or something similar from getting dirt and lint in there. I also would not be comfortable humping a guy's face without a thong on - it's a fun trick for getting the guys aroused quickly, which means more tips. I like being able to give a raunchy lap dance, but I believe that leaving my thong on is critical to keeping it safe. So, nude lap dances are a big dealbreaker according to my personal comfort level. But that's just me, and it's a decision you should make for yourself. If you're not comfortable, it will show in your dancing and in the way you carry yourself. As far as I'm aware, a club can't actually force you to take your thong off, much as they make you think they can. If I were you, I'd see if they have a problem with you doing lap dances with your thong on (many of the girls might do that already), if that's what makes you most comfortable. I know a lot of full-nude clubs don't have a problem with girls leaving their thongs on for dances. It may affect the money and it may not; depending on the club it may not matter, you may still make plenty of money.

I guess it depends on the club, the clientelle, and the security (for ur safety) alongside your personally comfort level with performing nude lap dances. I have personally worked at a club and performed nude lap dances. I had no problems doing so at all. . . * All of the clients knew that NO TOUCHING was allowed (their hands had to be in plain view throughout the dance) * Even as a 'performer' no "GRINDING" was even allowed during these dances (so no vayjay sanitary issue) * There was security at the club * There were security cameras at each lap dance station * Pay was upfront (or security would get involved) I think there was a 6-inch rule for the dancers (if i recall correctly). If security saw dancers breaking rules repeatedly they'd get fired. I guess since there was no touching involved at all, I never thought twice about doing it. But then I'm all okay with being a tease anyway, lol. ((( Ahhhemmmm: let me clairfy that this was many many years ago. Rules may have changed in clubs now. And while I have nothing against 'strippers', I no longer dance at strip clubs ))) I am also now married, but was NOT married or with children at the time I danced. I wouldn't dance nude, topless, or any of the sort now. (Just not as comfortable with my body - not to mention husband would NOT be down with that!! lol) 😮)

Hi i used to work in a few clubs in Scotland. I think our rules are slightly different than the U.S but as its stands just now i dont know of any club in scotland or many in the U.K that dont do fully nude lap dances. When i first started out many years ago (i was engaged at the time im now married) i worked in a topless only club. It soon closed down as every other club in my city were giving nude dances for the same price so they were losing business. As for pole dances its usually the norm to do them topless or in underwear, i havnt seen many pole dances that are fully nude...have you tryed poling nude it is SORE!! 😮 In the u.k we dont get tips for pole dancing so all the money is made in lapdances so maybe thats why. The last time i worked in a club was about 2 years ago. I was very nervous with the whole nude thing but there are ways around it you can go nude with out putting yourself at risk. EVERY club SHOULD have a strict no touching rule. If a guy trys to touch you in anyway you should firmly tell him no and that the dance will stop if he does it again, if hes stupid enough to try it again end the dance and inform the clubs security to deal with him. A reputable club will not put up with this behaviour and will protect their dancers. If they dont, i wouldnt work there. 🙁 For a fully nude dance i would go topless pretty quickly and do alot of full on lap tricks ie grinding, lap contact ect but id still have my g string on for this. When i was ready to take this off i would maintain a distance away from the guy tease it off slowly and concentrate on a lot of floor tricks. That way he gets to see you nude, gets a good show but your not making any physical contact at all. I always used to go nude near the end of the dance so that you are not "vunerable" for very long. 😀 There are some dancers that will push boundarys for more dances ie nude lady bits right in the guys face, gridding naked in their laps, letting guys touch them ect. I personaly would never do this. Your asking for trouble and are more likely to get a few stray fingers somewere you dont want them to go! 😲 Anyways hope this has been helpful good luck with it! im sure you will be fine 😀

I always used to go nude near the end of the dance so that you are not "vunerable" for very long. Think this is a really good idea, I think what I might do is go to the club, see how they work and have a talk with the other dancers. See what they do... I really couldn't imagine doing a full dance, completely nude... as MelanieDA, i reckon it would show that I wasn't comfortable! Although.... I am liking the idea that lindsayanng had, making pole fitness as a living!! I also have the dilemma i don't know how i would feel telling my mum i was a lap dancer, hehe. she loves me for doing pole dancing, but she might worry bout me a little too much if i did lap dancing. hehe. I RREEAAALLLYYYYY appreciate EVERYONE'S advice!!! it is helping me a lot!! xx

I just always hate to see women who feel that lap dancing is the only option for them as far as work.. It doesn't have to be, and if you are only doing it for the money and you aren't entirely comfortable with yourself doing it, it will show and it will hurt you emotionally.

A few tips for you if you decide to do this (from a girl friend of mine that worked in vegas ). Get a wrap and place it across his lap so if you do sit on his lap for a moment it is your wrap not his pants because you don't know where he has been. You will get very good at hand slapping and dodging. What I tend to do is carry a pair of hand cuffs and cuff them so I don't have to deal with this... They may like your kinky-take charge factor more. Get all dance money up front. If he is cuffed pull it out of his wallet for him in a seductive manor. Men in these clubs like women with personality, and that are in charge. At some point in time you will be propositioned. I tent to act like they just insulted me majorly after i tell them no once. My girl friend is great at playing the, excuse the expression, dumb blond and pulls out the mommy voice when they get out of line. Remember above all else follow your instincts. If you don't feel comfortable don't do it. I tend to tell people up front my "rules" for dances. (I would also suggest following all laws, rules, and regulation for the area that you live in. This is my disclaimer... common sense I know, but i still put it in.) PM me if you have more in depth questions on the industry.

Yup best thing to do is chat with the dancers at the chosen club. see what they do, whats expected of you ect. As i said before going fully nude doesnt necessarly mean for a full 3 or 4 min song. If you stripped right off at the beginning it would get boring very quickly for the guy. Believe it or not some men are uncomfortable with dancers who get their bits out and right in the guys face. (so i have been told by a few male friends) especially if theyve been bought a dance by a friend or if its a bachelor party and they are under pressure to go along with it. I used to encounter many guys that were sometimes just as nervous and uncomfortable about the full thing as any newbie dancer. 😳
