Thick girls & calf boots!

I really like the look of the calf boots but I'm afraid they won't look right on my body. I'm curvy with a bum and thick thighs. I see all these svelte online dancers with them, but I'm worried they wont elongate my legs and I'll have more of a chubby stumpy look. Any thick/plus girls opinions and/or pictures in calf boots would be super awesome!
