I am looking to get a new pole and I am having a hard time deciding what kind of pole to get? Please give me your input on what finishes you like?

I like both! What is your climate like, and what is your skin like, dry, sweaty? What pole finish do you use now?
I tend to be more dry but I can get a little sweaty, I have also look at the silicone pole or the pole sleeve as well.
From my exp I would say to avoid brass if you are dry. And just keep in mind with the sleeve that it adds to the overall dimension of the pole (I think an additional 3mm?) also from what I've heard it is a process to get it on and off so can't just change it back whenever you want. The sleeve and the silicone I think are mostly meant to be used with clothing so I guess that's something to consider there. Seems like I've only ever seen positive things about TG!

Yes check our that link posted. I agree if you tend to be on the dry side brass can be challenging in cool weather.

I live in a very dry climate. So dry that I use lotion every day and don't have any problems slipping on the pole. We get summer temps up to 95F and winter temps down to -15F. I have a TG Xpole and I love it. I go to a studio that has chrome and I don't stick nearly as well there. I always come home and practice the new moves we are given in class and can achieve them quicker on my TG pole. That being said, I don't sick so bad that it removes skin when I'm trying to spin or slide. I've never tried brass but just thought I'd give you my experience with TG. I've heard great things about PC poles as well, but again, I've never tried them.
