More than one way to break a man...lol No Mrs Bobbit needed.

At work an RPN asks me to assess a pt. She was a very vague historian and being all over the map and not making sense. I then direct her to sit down as I had checked for bruising from head to toes. I then directed her to her chair to make her sit down and she stops dead in her aged steps and says "I have something to show you" . She was very insistent on having me turn her around and honestly didn't want to go around the whole thing again as she is confused with moment of clarity. She directs us to this drawer and hands me this object. I asked her what it was doing there. Of course she couldn't answer me. mmm....thinking and saying it looks like a diaphragm but a little bigger. I have never seen this before but anyway she handed me her pessary. I am concluding that the alleged fall was her hanging by the sink trying to pick this thing either out of the toilet rolled under the sink...and so forth . As one must know too that she was also constipated and might of pushed it out. I washed my hands so much today. I sure hope she doesn't have any STD's . Apparently, perhaps the Dr didn't push it in far enough.
