Superman!!!!! Plus more!!

🥂 🥂 🥂 🥂 🥂 🥂 🥂 🥂 🥂 🥂 🥂 🥂 GREAT class tonight guys!!! I finally got Superman! Its been my nemesis (among others - ask azriel) for a LONG time and I finally got it tonight!! I literally jumped up and down squealing with delight in the middle of class! I did it about 7 times after that and eventually my tutor told me to give myself a rest. But I was just so excited!!! Ive been trying for months to get this and just couldnt. In the end I was doing something so simple wrong and my tutor pointed it out and then bam I got it!!! PLUS - I got Knee Hold! Only one handed knee hold mind you so Im not jumping up and down about that one yet!!! I have the positioning right and my hips forward but not quite confident enough to let go the 2nd hand. Pretty chuffed about that though and I'll work on it!!! ALSO I got Bow & Arrow!!! 😀 The reason I got on so well is cause it was only me & another girl in class tonight so it was almost like a private lesson. Guys I really dont wana come accross as if Im bragging. 🙄 Im just sooooooo excited about tonights lesson that I had to share with somebody and nobody understands like you guys! 😀 Oh PS I havent forgotten about the March Challenge. I will do it as soon as possible. I was too tired the last couple of days and I wasnt able to do anything after class tonight (over-doing Superman, tsk tsk, tsk!!)! But I WILL do it!!! 😁

YAAAAYYYYY Trena!!!!!! i got so excited reading your post, i spilled wine on my laptop! OMG as soon as you're rested you HAVE to post a vid of your new moves!!! i'm so proud of you for the superman! i do that too, when i first get a move, i do it over and over and over till i collapse, lol! and that's awesome about the knee-hold! even doing it with one arm on the pole is hard enough, that's how i started doing it too! Congrats on the bow and arrow too- yay yay yay!! and no, of course you don't come off as bragging, we all love sharing our accomplishments and hearing about others' accomplishments as well! thanks for sharing this with us!!! can't wait to see your next vid! 🥂 🤸 😂 😁

wow congrats!!! 🥂 ☀️ 🌸 👸 🤸 ❗ 😎 i have been trying to get this move for so long and get frustratingly close, but just cant seem to get over the last little bump 😳 dont worry about bragging you worked hard to learn these moves and we have all known the excitment of landing a move for the first time 💣 i am still super excited about finally getting jade split (or as close to a split as i can manage) and reverse climb 🦇 i wish there was an advanced class in my area i am hoping to get a web cam (my very first 1 yay!) w new laptop hopefully joining in on pole jams w cam will help me acheive moves ( w the help of you wonderful people 😀 )

I've beeing trying the superman for the past 3 weeks and am just not getting it. Man does it hurt. If you don't mind me asking what was the thing that your instructor pointed out that you were doing wrong that helped you get it. Congrats!

azriel: Thanks babe!!! Your poor laptop! I have to admit I giggled a little when I read that you had got that excited for me! I knew you would because you were the one that had to listen to me moan about Superman! lol Im so glad you got to see my post before it disappeared! 😀 I wish I could do the new moves today but my tutor told me to rest my shoulder cause it was weak after last night! Im SO excited about them still!! 😀 pole-twista: Congrats on the Jade! 🥂 Im still pretty far from trying that one! Looks hard!! 😕 For me with the Superman it was always that last little switch around that was the problem!! Thats what my teacher helped me with. Not having an advanced class must be a pain in the ass but thats where the pole jams will be especially good for you cause you can get all the great people here to help you out!! Isnt this site the greatest!! 😀 jeng: My lower arm (for me its my left) wasnt low enough on the pole for me to be able to turn my body around, it was getting in my way. She got me to do an Apprentice (or Star Fish as its sometimes called) first to get my arm position right. I did that a couple of times. She also said that I needed to turn my body a little faster so I did and it worked. WOOHOO Trena! I'm so proud of you...that is fantastic! I can't wait to see a vid of your new moves! As far as bragging.....we all have bragging rights here! 😀 We all know how hard some of these moves are and the feelings we get when we accomplish them!!!! Brag away!!!! 😀 😀

Congratulations! That's really awesome. What a challenging move. A while back, I tried to learn it but got so discouraged that I had to forget about it. I'll get back to it one day! But I want to see your's and get inspired!

Its so good to be able to talk to people who understand how hard some of these tricks can be!!
