Sunscreen and Poling.. HELP

So as many of you know I live in CA and I have an X stage. Well, soon the rain will come to an end and I want to do a lot of pole dancing OUTSIDE 🥂 but......How will I go about this without getting a sun burn or compromise my skins health? 🤔 I want to enjoy the wonderful sunshine here ☀️ I have thought about using my normal lotion that has spf 15 in it as soon as I wake up, which would give me a few hrs before I would pole. But, I have never danced with that lubriderm lotion and I worry it will be too greasy. Anyone have any thoughts or experience with out door poling and skin protection?? 🙊 🙊 🙊

They do make non-greasy suntan lotion: Walgreen's Brand. There are bunches like this. Here is a powder (much more expensive): Powder sunscreen Oh, and sunscreen should be applied 15-30 minutes prior to exposure and then every 2 hours after that. So basically all the face creams that say SPF 20 and such are useless by mid day!

what about a spray sunscreen? It would dry faster than reg sunscreen.

Here you go! http://www.viewpoints.com/Non-Greasy-Sunscreen also I think in makeup school I remember my teacher telling us to try to find suncreens that arent oil based, i would think a spray probably wouldnt be...that coppertone 50 spf sweatproof sport spray looks pretty good!

Some sunscreens come in powder form!! 😀 They're pricier than the stuff you can just slather on, tho

Be careful with powder and spray sunscreens. There is a lot of concern lately that the nanoparticles in sunscreen are cancer causing. These nanoparticles cannot be absorbed through the skin, but they are very easily absorbed by the lungs. Because the cream sunscreen doesn't easily send any particles into the air, they aren't likely to be inhaled, unlike sprays and powders. Unfortunately, there aren't any definitive studies on it yet (that I'm aware of, at least), so we'll have to decide for ourselves what we think is safe. last summer i used the neutrogena ultra sheer dry touch sunblock 100+ spf with helioplex and it didnt get in the way of pole dancing

I hate sunburn and I hate sunscreen in all it's forms and from all brands. With poling I can't even moisturise with the lightest effective lotion unless it's the night before and I am poling in the late afternoon or evening the next day... sunscreen would be insanely dangerous for me as I can't get it off! My suggestion: FULL SHADE!

Thanks everyone!!! LOL @ FULL SHADE, yes that is a good point 🥂 but....not possible around my home right now, I would freeze. In the summer it would work. Right now you still need that sun to warm you up. ☀️ ☀️ ahhhhhhh

I hate getting greasy from sunscreen and it is a necessity for me (have you seen my vids? hello pasty 😂 ) I started using an aerosol-spray that is supposedly "waterproof" even though I know it's not really, but it's technically a high-active one for athleticy type people, so you can't sweat it off. I dunno. I'd give it a shot, it goes on clear and actually dries so not greasy that it's almost tacky. I'd spray it in a light coat so that as I got sweaty I could keep wiping myself with a towel and do a little re-apply as needed.
