SUGGESTIONS PLEASE

Hey all, I just moved into a new place. It's an apartment, older style building I do believe. Now of course I'm anxious to get my pole up but worried that the ceiling appears thin and possibly weak. Can anyone suggest some things I can do for extra support as to not damage the ceiling or end up with my pole going right throught it?? Any suggestions would greatly be appreciated. Thanks!!
