Studio Veena Lessons?

Has anyone taken Veena's online lessons? They look great, and they are really inexpensive. Are they effective?

Yep i've been taking them for a month so far, and they're brilliant. I don't know if you're a total beginner, but I was, and I found there was loads to do, even before I had built up very much strength. There are tons of lessons, and Veena goes through everything step by step. Also, in the spirit of Valentines, there are lap dance lessons coming too!
Thanks so much! You seem to have picked up poling pretty easily for only a month. 😀 Yes, for the most part I'm a beginner; I had a few classes but I'm sooooo weak. 😳 Right now I'm waiting for my pole so I can sign up for Veena's lessons. 😀 Happy Poling!

Thanks Polenovice! I know how it feels to be waiting for your pole. There are alot of exercises you could practise on Veena's lessons before you even get your pole, but i know you'd rather wait, as it would be painful to watch pole lessons, and not be able to try them! I'd recommend some light weight, or even just pushups! Looking forward to seeing your first vids on your new pole!
Cool! Thanks! Perhaps I'll sign up today, it will give me something to do after homework. *sigh* I need to get to going ASAP because I have very little upper body strength. I can lift weights all day, but I can barely do a decent push up. 😂

Hi and welcome! I do think that Veena's lessons are worth it! She is brilliant at breaking down spins and tricks. She's a former personal trainer and an awesome pole dancer so she knows her stuff! There are great preparatory exercises in her lessons too so while you're anxiously awaiting your pole you could be getting ready with those in the mean time! 😀
I signed up for her lessons and LOVE them...have learned so much from them. The warm-up is great and the way she breaks down moves is phenomenal ...so worth it. Wish I hadn't bought the DVD's that I did because Veena's lessons are better and very affordable, imo. 😀

Yep Jenn I wasted money on a dvd too. It was really bad, the only move I could do on the first day was a fireman spin... so was i just supposed to keep practising it until I got stronger?! Veena has loads of fun transition moves and strength training too.

There are some very good arm strength moves that Veena has in her lessons. I do them regularly, even when my pole is not up and I can tell that I am stronger.

If you are going the "self-taught" route, GET Veena's lessons! Even if you're going to a studio get them anyway for additional support. I took lessons for a while, then continued teaching myself and suffered repeated painful bruised ribs and pulled muscles from doing tricks before I was physically ready and without knowing the proper way. Now I've been using Veena's lessons for a couple months and am learning the right way to avoid injury, build strength and I nail moves so much quicker! Her lessons are MUCH cheaper than a hospital bill!!! And they are great, very detailed and easy to learn from! Try them out for a month or two at least! She just made a bunch of new, improved ones and now is doing the lapdance series!
