Hello all, I know its a random question,but i was just wondering how long u reckon it takes to lose strength?ive been off my pole for 2 weeks now,i have had laminate flooring put in my front room and where my other pole didnt fit properly i dont trust it! I am waiting for my x pole to arrive that will fit,im hoping i wont b back at square 1. thanks Maddie 🙂 x

Hmm, I would say you start noticing a loss in strength after about a month (just a guess from my experience) but don't worry, muscles have memory! It will take less time to regain strength than it took to get it in the first place 🙂 Fleur
I don't know for sure, but from my own personal experience with weight training and poling (for a minimal amount of time) it takes several weeks to lose strength. I've stopped for a couple of months and only lost a litle bit of strength. I started back easy so I'll never know for sure, but I dont think you'll see much difference after just 2 weeks. Hopefully!

I had an injury not long ago and was off my pole for about 3 weeks. I didnt lose any strength but i did notice it hurt a bit more than usual (as far as pole burn is concerned) cause my body had kind of stopped getting used to the feeling... but it only lasted a day or 2 and then i was back to normal. You should be alright!
I noticed i got away with alot of bruising as well the second time round,im thinking the body gets used to pressure points.Lookng forward to practising again 🙂 x
