I've been poling now for 6 months and Im advanced level now, but no matter what I still can't get the simplest beginner move, the cradle! its driving me crazy lol! does anybody have any video tutorials on how to do it properly ? or any tips would be great please girlies? 😀 thanks! 🙂 🌸

I was trying forever to get the Cradle at home but when I went for an intro class I picked it up no problem. The move is easier learned on spinny mode (according to the teacher) so try that at first. You don't want to put your full weight on your bottom arm but you really rely on that arm to keep you up (I think learning to use that arm rather than the top arm is what did it for me). Keep the tops of your thighs against the pole and squeeze in your chest. Good luck!

iv hated it since i first tried to do it lol! just cant get my body to go side ways lol.... 🙁
oh... 😳 I love the cradle. I couldn't get my body to go sideways at 1st. Nor would I spin more than 1/2 way around the pole but I kept at it (on static, spin mode scares me a bit though I am getting better at it) and kept working both sides cause I couldn't figure out which was better for me even though I'm a lefty I switch a lot, and eventually I got it. I think this is one of those ones that is hard at first because your body positioning is new and for me allowing that top arm to slide down and bend a bit helped a bunch. Although I still can't do this with the close grip. grrr
I just feel like I'm not strong enough to hold myself in that position. I know I just need to do it more, but it's discouraging when your first attempts are so hopeless, lol.
