Sporting Goods Store Grip Aids

For about a year I've been alternating between Mighty Grip and Itac2 grip aids and I have no major complaint about those. However, just for the sake of convenience and sometimes lower price, I've been curious about grip aids you can buy right at a sporting goods store (e.g. those intended for baseball, bowling, tennis, etc.) Poledancefan once reviewed a few: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XIHcb34GAv0&list=UUlmUyiv4vJNLab0Rgsqb1sA&index=105&feature=plcp Have you tried any of these types of grip aids? Are there any that you like and have had success with?

We've tried Prince Grip. It works pretty good. Also have tried Kramers Firm Grip spray and paste but not really happy with either as they are too strong. Also never found them in the stores locally by us. Both were about the same price as any other grip product I've seen or tried. Rosin chalk just doesn't work for me so I can't really recommend it myself.

This might not help you if you have dry hands, but I have very sweaty hands so I use a combination of Tite Grip (which is an antiperspirant for the hands, not a grip aid) underneath Prince Tennis Grip and that has worked the best by far for me (and I've tried Mighty Grip, iTac, Gorilla Grip, Dry Hands, and several others). I've never seen Tite Grip sold in a store but I think the inconvenience is well worth it. Prince Grip used to be sold in Dick's Sporting Goods, but I have checked that store in two different cities and they aren't currently carrying it - not sure if that's a temporary/seasonal thing or what. Instead they were carrying some other brand I've never heard of that ended up smelling terrible and it wasn't effective at all. I don't remember what it was called because I had to return it immediately. I haven't checked many other sports stores yet though since there aren't too many in my area.

I got a few products today from Sports Authority. Tonight I tried a pine tar stick ($9.99 in the baseball section). It's a clear color and kind of difficult to spread, almost like candle wax consistency. I put some on my hands and on the pole. At first it seemed like overkill. There was so much tackiness that I couldn't spin. However, I ended up liking it pretty well. It seems that if you just use a little, it thins out as it gets warm. Then, it provides a good amount of extra grip without preventing movement.

I tried another product from Sports Authority recently, Mission Skincare Ultra-Grip Gel ($7.99): http://www.sportsauthority.com/product/index.jsp?productId=12149788 It works really well for pole! It seems like Platinum Grip to me, but I've only tried Platinum Grip once. It's a liquid and you just put a couple drops on your hand and rub it in. It's non-tacky when it dries, so it doesn't interfere with spinning. I'm so happy to find a product like this locally that I don't have to pay shipping for.
