Spinning mode or static?

Hi everyone, Wasn't sure where to put this post,but i figured here is ok.Im just wondering if beginners are ok to work on a spinning pole first,the reason i ask is because i remember a friend of mine said to me bout she had learnt on a spinning pole and then couldnt do spins on static.anyone had this problem?I have learnt on a static pole and only tried a spinning one the other day,i clung to it lol,feels wierd at first and made me feel sick 🙁 i plan to get an XPOLE real soon. Maddy, I have taught beginners on spin mode before but yes, many do feel like they don't want to work in static because it's so difficult to gain momentum. my theory has been - spin mode to learn the leg position of the spin and static mode to work on momentum and grip. 🙂 You should practice both.

Learning on spin first, can make it harder to learn on static later....can but not necessarily. You can developed habits, using spin mode because it requires you to turn into the pole a lot (but not always) and then climb or get into a position. Soooo the problem that some run into is when trying static spins they have a habit of turning into the pole first and that can cause problems in proper technique for some static spins. One is not harder or better than the other but the technique is different. I think static is a better work out, if burning calories is what a person wants to do, because you need to use your body for momentum on static. Spin is more about holding the pose properly....which is also a challenge! 🌸 🌸
