spinning flare

I need help! So, my instructor showed the spinning flare yesterday in class. I didn't get it. She was doing it too fast (I know it's hard to do it slow). So I googled for instructional videos - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jTUgObUhivI - it helps a bit but I still don't get it. Can anyone give me some pointers? I can do fan kick ...but I can't even manage a fan kick into invert. Perhaps Veena you have a lesson somewhere which would help me out? Many thanks!! Janice
