Spin pole grip problems - help!

I'm trying to get better on spin pole but I'm having such problems with my grip! I feel like when the pole spins (or even just shifts a little when I'm doing moves) I lose my grip and come right off. For example, on static pole, when I'm going from on outside leg hang into superman, my top hand kind of shifts around the pole as needed. But on spin mode, not only can I not shift my hand around to adjust my grip, but when the pole moves I lose my grip completely. Any suggestions?? Thank you!!

Practtice, practice, practice. I found that when I first started on spin mode, I lost my focus a bit because it was such a different feeling. It's easy to over grip when you first start, which sounds like it shouldn't be a problem, but it can be. It also takes much more strength to use spin mode. Just like other moves, there is a sweet spot that comes with building the necessary strength. You may want to try Might Grip Gloves with tack when first starting out so you can get the feel and work on your strength. Good luck! Spin mode is so fun!

Yes it's more difficult since you can't use the friction that you get between the hand and the pole when using static. The whole thing moves instead. You'll get better technique/strength with time, but if you're in a studio and they have different pole sizes, go for the slimmest one!

I have very sweaty hands to begin with so I have very little grip, especially on spin. I nearly always wear my tacky mighty grip gloves when using spin mode. :-)
