Spin mode busted?

I have an x-pole that is supposed to go into spin mode, but since moving a few weeks ago and putting my pole back up, it won't... It will kinda "spin" in that I can twist it slowly halfway around with tension building up and then it "snaps" back into place. I've taken it down and put it back up several times, and I don't think I'm doing anything differently to it... Has anyone ever experienced this? Did I bust the spin mode somehow? :(

Do you think it may be possible you over tightened the tension? Ive done that before and i got a really tight kind of feeling on spin mode and it was not a smooth ride.

You may have a foreign object somewhere in the spin mechanism/bearings (I don't have an X so not sure what their mechanism is). See if you can check it somehow.

mine started doing that when the pole started bowing (from doing a ton of spins on it.)

Have you contacted x pole tech support? I had a similar issue but it was the 2 screws they tell you never to touch that needed tightening - but you should contact them before touching the screws!
